The two rooms we were assigned, one had sewage smell and another crawling with ants. They agreed to “upgrade” the room with sewage smell for one night and then change the room back to the room we’d booked and the room crawling with ants, they’ll change the sheets and then they’ll like us to see if the ants are coming back. We don’t want to take our chances of wait and see with the ants or face the hassle of moving rooms. We requested for a cancellation and refund.
The hotel, though is in a good part of town, but it’s old. The sea view that you’re paying for is not worth the “hype” as it is in front of the street and pool, where you’ll hear all the traffics (loud motorcycles speeding after midnight) and screaming children in the pool at 7am, E.V.E.R.Y.D.A.Y. You’ll be much better off with the garden view which is quieter, I think. Or a newer hotel at the same price, 10 minutes drive away.
We were trying to cancel our trip through Trip.com, which unfortunately had a third party to book with the hotel and we had to wait 2 hours for a resolution. Finally the hotel agreed to accommodate us into, I believe, their biggest room throughout the entire 4 nights of our stay (the one with Jacuzzi and sea view). We were more than happy if they could either just give us the same size room without the smell or ants or without the sea view but they were fully booked that weekend and were reluctant to “upgrade” us for our entire stay. We just don’t need the hassle of moving rooms.

We had high expectations for this hotel and were really looking forward to our stay – which made the actual experience all the more disappointing. We booked a deluxe room, which wasn't properly cleaned once during our entire stay. The shower drain was clogged, and even after we reported it, the problem wasn't resolved. The shower was also consistently dirty and obviously hadn't been cleaned.
The beds weren't changed, only a little stuffed under the shower once. The cleanliness of the entire room left a lot to be desired – dust and dirt everywhere. Absolutely unacceptable for a hotel of this category.
The service was also disappointing. We received neither a friendly welcome nor a friendly farewell – at checkout, no one even bothered to respond to our "goodbye." Overall, we didn't feel welcome or comfortable.
We had high hopes for this hotel, but we were disappointed in many ways. The lack of cleanliness and the impersonal service unfortunately had a very negative impact on our stay. What a shame!

But this time I got a room with a very strong bathroom smell. The hotel changed it, but it had the same smell, so they didn't change it. They used a trash can to cover the pipe. The rooms on the first floor near the big swimming pool are nice, but the rooms near the small swimming pool are actually just a small pool, and I don't recommend them for the same price. The sea view rooms on the third floor are ok, although they are second-line sea views, they are a bit noisy (facing the road).
