아이가 수영을 좋아해서 풀빌라를 찾아 이용했고, 뷰를 중요하게 생각해서 비치프론트 풀빌라에서 묵었어요. 뷰도 좋고 소파베드를 아이 침대로 만들어줘서 좋았어요. 다만 빌라에 있는 수영장 청결 상태가 좋지 않았고 시설중 하나인 키즈풀이 너무 방치되어 있어서 선택한 이유가 아쉬웠습니다.

The pool room is great, and they also gave me a small gift. The hotel is sparsely populated and beautiful, and there are free marine sports experiences. The restaurant has a good view and food, and the spa is also great. It's a great stay experience.

My stay at the Banyan Tree Krabi was truly disappointing, and even felt like a scam. I had clearly selected a "Select Ocean View Room" when booking, but upon arrival, it was changed to a "Partial Ocean View Room." The room I stayed in looked exactly like the pictures on Ctrip (coincidentally, the first picture is the official promotional image, while the second picture I took shows exactly the same room, C101. The Select Ocean View Room's terrace has a sun umbrella and no roof). The ocean view was significantly diminished, but the hotel refused to acknowledge this, which left me deeply dissatisfied. During our conversation, they initially offered to compensate me with afternoon tea, but the room price was already different, and they were at fault, making this insignificant compensation meaningless. I asked for a restaurant or spa voucher, but they only offered a spa voucher, good for 20%. However, when I actually went to the spa, I was told the voucher was only valid for the "regular price," not the price posted at the entrance. In the end, I still had to pay the full price, and the voucher was worthless. This wasn't compensation; it was a complete scam! The next day, I didn't bother changing rooms because I was staying three nights in total. I accidentally noticed through photos that I had already been moved one night. The service attitude of the hotel's lower-level staff was decent, but the management's evasion of responsibility and perfunctory approach with false promises was truly outrageous. Furthermore, even after Ctrip refunded 800 yuan, the price difference between the actual room type and the official website (which showed a difference of at least 900 yuan that month) was still not fair, and the issue was never resolved. This lack of integrity and irresponsibility is truly not recommended.

I checked into Banyan Tree Krabi in June 2025. It was originally a high-end vacation that I was looking forward to, but it turned into a nightmare because of severe gastroenteritis caused by the hotel dinner. On the evening of June 16, I ordered room service dinner (including Pad Thai and Smooth Truffle) at the hotel. As a result, I had a high fever, vomiting, severe diarrhea and other symptoms in the early morning of the next day. I was rushed to the hospital for treatment and ended up being hospitalized twice in a row, spending more than 70,000 baht in medical expenses. The medical report clearly showed infectious gastroenteritis. I showed the hotel all the hospital bills, laboratory records and symptom descriptions, asking for assistance or partial compensation, but was rejected by the hotel, saying that "no other guests complained" that it was not their problem - this was completely a logical avoidance of "survivor bias" rather than a responsible attitude. Even though I booked through Ctrip, the hotel did not negotiate with the platform to deal with it, but forcibly shirked responsibility. In the end, only Ctrip agreed to refund one night's room fee. As a five-star hotel, Banyan Tree's service should reflect care and responsibility, but this incident exposed their extreme lack of responsibility in dealing with medical emergencies. ⚠️ It is strongly recommended that friends who come to Thailand for tourism carefully consider this hotel, especially those who are sensitive to hygiene or travel with children or the elderly. Under the luxurious appearance, there is a chilling indifference.
