Santiburi Koh Samui Reviews

We stayed 3 weeks on Samui (1 hotel each week). 1st hotel was Sala. It was really nice in good location with plenty of restaurants and food shops. 2nd was holiday inn. My advice - never go there. It is dirty, small and too loud. But location is great. Plenty of restaurants and bars. Finally Santiburi. It is paradise. Best service. Best accommodation. Clean beach. Huge territory. You feel like in jungles. Unfortunately food could be better. The closest 7eleven is 10-12 min walk. Closest restaurant 10 min walk.

It is a very beautiful and peaceful resort with lots of trees and other vegetation as well as a very nice and clean beach where it is possible to swim in the sea. The driveway you will give you a very good impression of how nice the resort is. There is a big  swimming pool centrally located and which you can see the moment you step out of the hotel lounge. Breakfast has a fairly wide variety of food choices. And the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful as typical of most Thais. I would have no hesitation to recommend this resort others 

An old five-star resort, the room is very clean. This time we were given one of the two villas closest to the beach. The beach is right outside the door. This will be the hotel I stay in for the second time. 1. There are few people. We checked in on Thursday and Friday, and almost occupied the swimming pool and beach. This resort is mostly occupied by European families. We did not meet any Chinese compatriots in these three days. 2. 🈶The hotel has its own large beach, Maenam Beach, which has everything you need. It is a great experience for a leisure vacation with few people. The hotel is large, with lush vegetation, the largest swimming pool on the island (very good), no mosquitoes, and a rich breakfast. 3. The location is not in the downtown area, but it is very convenient to use Grab to go out for meals, massages and shopping. There are 711 and pharmacies just a few minutes away from the resort entrance. There are also many options for takeout. Grab is really expensive on the island. It costs 70+RMB to take a Grab taxi to the Fisherman's Night Market. 4. The service is very good. Cleaning is done twice a day. Light mosquito coils at the door at a certain time. The takeout you order will be delivered to the room by the hotel guy. If you don't want to walk, you can call a buggy. The hotel has beautiful greenery and it is very comfortable to walk around.

The hotel's external environment is very good, not crowded, and the beach is finer and wider than other neighboring hotels. The room has good privacy, and the pool room was upgraded for free. It is clean and tidy. There will be staff to light aromatherapy and mosquito coils. The room is very fragrant, and there are not many mosquitoes at the door. All toiletries are from Panpuri. Several restaurants feel pretty good, and the breakfast variety and taste are OK. The Western food at the beach bar and the Thai food at sala tai are both very fragrant. Although the price is much more expensive than that of restaurants outside, it is only more than 200 per person. The in Villa BBQ reserved tastes good and the quantity is sufficient. The hotel service is the best. You can make reservations for various activities and meals by calling or using the APP, and the response is very quick. The staff will take the initiative to say hello and are very enthusiastic, just like the service of the Maldives Island Resort Hotel. The staff will give mosquito coils and indoor aromatherapy, clean the swimming pool, and send Spring Festival cards.

A great hotel experience. Most of the guests are Europeans and Americans. The room service and breakfast are satisfactory. There are also free water sports activities to experience. The only regret is that we booked three rooms, one of which is an old room type and not as luxurious as the other two. Because they were all full, we couldn't change rooms. I still recommend this hotel. The Maenam Sea is very quiet and suitable for a daze vacation🏖️

The room smells bad. I don't know what kind of bugs are biting me. I feel itchy every day.

Wonderful, simply fantastic hotel! Soulful, beautiful, delicious. Many thanks to Tatyana, who helped us during our short vacation. The rainy weather spoiled our plans a little, but there is something to do in the hotel. We hope that the next time we want to visit Samui, the weather will be favorable to us, but we will not have to choose a hotel, the choice is obvious 🩷

A wonderful hotel with a huge territory. It feels like you are living in a botanical garden. Very quiet. The rooms have an old money feel. The furniture seems to be not new, but of such quality that it looks like an advantage. The hotel staff is a separate point. Everyone is extremely attentive and friendly. Ready to respond to any of your requests. Food: We took a room with breakfast and it also turned out to be gorgeous: a large selection of dishes, fruits, freshly squeezed juices. Section of European and Asian food. Beach: Maenam - love at first sight. Very quiet and deep. On the opposite side there is a view of Phangan. It feels like we are on another island from Samui. There are very few people and no traders. We really liked it I advise you to spend at least 2 nights in this hotel to feel it and fully relax. Just be prepared that you will have to walk across the beach to eat somewhere other than the hotel

Excellent stay, excellent hotel, everything is perfect, a little corner of paradise

The service staff is very enthusiastic, the facilities in the room are well maintained and relatively new. In addition, the hotel's food quality is also very good, and the overall feeling is very good. The only thing to point out is that the children's play facilities are a bit old, especially the outdoor climbing ropes have aged very badly, and the trampoline does not seem to be cleaned every day.

The overall hygiene is very good. The breakfast is also very good. However, I think the service of the staff in the hotel lobby is very lacking compared to other real five-star hotels. On the contrary, the cleaning staff or gardeners in the hotel are even better than those staff in the lobby.

It is not very suitable for families with children. There are no entertainment facilities. It is suitable for middle-aged and elderly people who want to stare at the sea in the hotel. The hotel room was really clean and the breakfast was good too. But I don't think the hotel staff service is very good, like the cleaning staff are very polite, but the hotel lobby or the upper level staff are not very good

A very quiet hotel, almost no Asians, garden villas, the only drawback is that the beach is not very friendly, but the overall environment is very quiet

What a great experience! Second time staying at this best hotel!
