After seven years in Thailand, I have never found it so bad. The manager was extremely unfriendly and only out to take advantage of you. I definitely can't recommend it

Was so impressed with this place - lovely, clean and spacious bungalow, great pool and superb food. The staff were lovely too. Just wish I could have stayed longer - I can see why people extend their stay on the island! Will definitely return one day.

Lovely resort minutes walk away from Klong Khong beach. Nice clean room and good food. The garden outside my bungalow was very nice and peaceful to look out on. The pool was great. The staff were always very helpful and arranged a snorkelling trip for me to koh ha and koh rok which was an amazing day. Thank you to all at Lanta Lapaya for making my stay a great experience.

Though this resort is not at the beach, however, not too far from the beach either. Clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds and courteous staff makes this place unique. One of my best stay at Thailand, so far. I visited Koh Lanta after staying a couple of nights at Phi Phi, and it was an welcome change. In August end, I have not seen many tourists here and therefore it’s not crowded. While speaking with locals, I have been explained that it is not one of the most sought after tourist destination. If one really wants to enjoy good food, traditional Thai life, not on the tourist map location, May be this is the place.

We had the most wonderful stay at this place! The bungalows were very good value for money, the food was great quality and meals delicious, the pool was clean, beautifully landscaped and so relaxing, but most of all: the people running the place were so warm, helpful, friendly and welcoming!! We would have loved to stay for much longer and when we come back, we’ll stay here again. We also hired scooters from them and they were literally brand new! It’s great when you can trust people when you’re thousands of miles from home - and they make you feel so welcome. From my whole family a big THANK YOU :)

Set of bungalows well located near the beach, in a very well maintained garden. The bungalows are very spacious, clean and well equipped. Beautiful, very pleasant swimming pool. Possibility to rent scooters. Many good restaurants nearby. Particularly warm, caring and smiling staff. I highly recommend

Clean and pleasant hotel. Large room overlooking the pool with overall comfortable bed. We thought we had 1 access to the beach. In fact it is on the other side of the street with 1 rather dirty access. In addition, this area of Koh lanta overlooks a sea full of rocks less nice than all the other areas of Koh lanta. Once these details have been clarified, why not but there is surely better.

Der Bungalow war groß, sehr sauber, genügend Ablagefläche, Klimaanlage. Sogar eine separate Küche war vorhanden, in der wir dann auch unser Frühstück zubereitet haben, Toaster, Heißwasserbereiter, Geschirr und Besteck war da, ein großer Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, kein Herd. kleinere Mängel im Bad wurden umgehend behoben. die ganze Anlage war top gepflegt, sowohl der Bungalow als auch der Garten und Poolbereich. Da nur 2 Bungalows belegt waren, hatten wir den Pool für uns alleine, lediglich am Wochenende war etwas mehr los. Die Bungalowanlage liegt über der Straße, zum Strand geht ein kurzer Fußweg. Von der Entlang der Straße gab es viele kleine Restaurants und auch Geschäfte. wir haben uns im Lanta Lapaya sehr wohlgefühlt. Auch der Strandabschnitt am Klong Khong Beach hat uns super gefallen, schöner Strand zum Baden und spazieren gehen, mit Restaurants und Bars, aber ohne große Hotelbauten.
