The Grand Palace Hotel Malang Reviews

The front of the place looks like a palace. Have really nice courtyard rooms. Our bathroom was not clean, you could see old piss down the toilet and a dried pee puddle at the bottom of the toilet. Otherwise the room was nice.

This hotel was great for the money. Good food. Great staff. I don’t think it was in the Best place, but it wasn’t the worst either . There is a couple of fruit stands, right outside of the hotel, which was great to have. The hotel is nice and spacious.  Easy access for taxi pickup.

Great location and fantastic value for money. The hotel looks great but it is very affordable. The staff were great; friendly and a great service. The room was comfortable and cleaned to a very high standard.

If I could give them 1 point I would have. The worst hotel I've ever been to. The rooms are super dirty. U just walk 2 steps barefoot and your feet are black. The service in the hotel is just nonexistent. I was charged half price for early check-in even though they had the room ready. They really like making money on foreigners but the quality is horrible. Stay away from this place. By the way when I decided to leave a day earlier they didn't even bother to get my money back. The territory is nice inside but it's not cleaned like ever. You can't even touch the wall as your hand goes dirty

Room was clean and tidy, the hotel itself is very pretty with European style decoration. Food in the restaurant tasted good. Overall great value for money

The hotel is conveniently located, the facilities are a bit old, and basic utensils are provided. The room is a bit small. The bathroom is also small. The decoration inside the hotel is special

Malang Grand Palace Hotel is located on the edge of the city center. The location is pretty good. There are many roadside stalls, Indonesian snack stalls and local fruit stalls on the right hand side as soon as you exit the hotel. If you are used to Indonesian food, it is quite good. The hotel lobby is not designed well. There are not many guest rooms and they are small. The hygiene is OK but the bathroom is too sparsely equipped. There is only toothbrush and soap. It is not suitable for business customers.

The hotel room is very clean. The service at the front desk is very good. They always have a smile on their faces. It feels very friendly. They will answer any questions you have. I will recommend it to my friends.

Strategic location

The hotel is cool, the location is strategic, it's clean, but it's a shame the room facilities are not ok, the first time the air conditioner arrived it wasn't cold, the water wasn't hot, the bath soap was empty, so we have to report and use it for new repairs to enjoy comfort. Please the hotel pays more attention to that before guests enter the room. thank you.
