"The hotel was very nice, but I ended up with a dark room overlooking a neighboring building's wall. There were loud parties every night, but I actually enjoyed that. The breakfast seemed to have a wide selection, but everything was bland and of poor quality. The chef must be from South India :-)"

"We had a wonderful stay at Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North. The resort is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the all-inclusive dining options were excellent. The staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful. Although Meryal Waterpark was closed on Monday during our stay, Trip.com handled the issue professionally and provided compensation, which we greatly appreciate. Overall, a fantastic family resort in Doha, and we look forward to returning again. Highly recommended!"

"I lived in Doha many years ago, so I booked the rooms in this hotel for the location which is excellent. I have also paid a good rate as I booked those quite in advance (about 50 quid per night, per room). Unfortunately our staying was not that great. I am not really happy to write this review, because all the staff are extremely polite, courteous, and well mannered, all of them, really nice staff. However, feedback and reviews are given 'here and now', so to better describe the circumstances encountered during the visit. PROS - Very easy/hassle free check in/out, strong wi-fi, polite staff, super location, amenities near by and on site, comfy bed, super shower, overall cleanliness of the hotel. CONS - Upon check in, I asked for two rooms not near the lifts, as it could get busy and noisy. The receptionist said 'ok no problem' and, guess what, one room was far from the lifts, but my one was right next to it. Upon entering the rooms, in my room the bath mat was missing and I had to call them asking for one. In the other room, there was a tray with food leftovers in the fridge. Considering that the rooms were just been cleaned up, it is really bad. We had to call the house-keeping to have it removed and the fridge cleaned. The hair drier is kinda secured/clipped to the wall and it cannot be taken to the bath. I asked how we are supposed to dry our hairs if the drier is not in front of the mirror, they replied 'use the TV screen as a mirror!'. The coffee mugs and drinking glasses were never changed or washed, we had to wash them ourselves. On the kitchenette top, there was some coffee powder, that was never wiped off during our entire stay. Once back in the room, on the first evening, I realized that there were 3 pillow cases missing out of 4. I had to call them up asking to bring some and put them on. The house keeping were always missing something everyday, and we had to call them many times. The lifts are key-operated but they only allow the guests to their room floor. Mine was on 9th floor, the other was on 7th floor. We had to use the staircase if we wanted to go to each othe room which, by the way, was dirty. They have a metal detector at the entrance which is very noisy. The lobby is kinda smallish and gets cramped and busy at a times. Overall, it didn't feel like a 4* hotel, but more of a budget hotel. The house-keeping needs to improve and so the room cleanliness."

"I stayed at the Al Bidda building of the Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels and it was really great. Prakash and Thouhid greeted me really well and helped me have a very smooth check-in experience. They were always available to help and gave me some really good recommendations on how to spend my time while in Doha. I cannot appreciate their help enough."

The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The breakfast and dining options were excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality food. The facilities, including the pool, spa, and fitness center, were immaculate and added to the overall luxury experience. The location is perfect for exploring Doha, with easy access to West Bay, shopping, and the Corniche. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Doha and would gladly stay here again."

"My stay at Kingsgate Hotel Doha was very comfortable and convenient. The hotel is in a great location, and many important places and attractions were nearby and could be reached within just five minutes. The staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and I really liked that there was a small kitchen area as well. The security service was also very good, and I felt safe throughout my stay. The accommodation rate was also very affordable, which made it a great value for money. Overall, Kingsgate Hotel was a great choice and made my Doha trip easy and enjoyable."

"The hotel is very well located at a walking distance from Msheireb metro station and also there is a small India restaurant along with a mini supermarket which can take care of your all small things. The studio apartment has all daily requirements available like iron board and iron. Washing machine with dryer stand, microwave, cook top along with utensils like chopping board knife, Pans, spoons and plates"

"Booked a classic standard room, but I have been offered a nice upgrade to the king deluxe variant; surprisingly vastly spacious. Everything is super clean and shiny, worthy of a 5 star, with a nice medieval theme throwing you back to sultans' times. Staff was very professional & friendly and all amenities were provided. Breakfast buffet is delicious. A well deserved 5/5."
