"From an architectural and design perspective, the InterContinental Nanjing (Zifeng Tower) is definitely worth a stay. We checked in on the 14th and checked out on the 16th, accompanying my parents to Nanjing, and overall, we were very satisfied. As the tallest building in Nanjing and Jiangsu, the Zifeng Tower was designed by American SOM, giving it a very international aesthetic. Although the building has some years on it, it still looks grand and timeless; its lines, proportions, the ventilation design of the glass curtain wall, and the elevators don't feel outdated at all. Instead, it has the vibe of a classic landmark. The hotel's interior continues this international design sensibility, offering breathtaking high-altitude views. The public spaces are simple and stylish, and the city views from the guest rooms are expansive. The facilities, service, and dining were all impressive. My parents enjoyed their stay, and I personally loved it too. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Thank you!"

"This stay at Sofitel Galaxy truly exceeded our expectations, and I have to give a perfect score to Jessica! Her service was attentive and thoughtful throughout: she not only upgraded our room for free but also proactively reminded us to book our exclusive late-night supper. Finally, she helped us secure a late check-out. Every little detail made us feel incredibly warm and cared for. Although the hotel has been open for some time, the quality of service hasn't diminished at all; instead, it showcases the reliability and dependability of a well-established five-star hotel. The location is another huge plus: the subway station is right outside the hotel, offering direct access to all popular attractions. If you're driving, you can park directly on levels B2/B3. Either way, getting around is super convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Nanjing!"

"I found myself back in Nanjing, the ancient capital and the birthplace of the Eastern Wu dynasty. This time, I stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel. In 1971, when Robert Kuok opened his first Shangri-La hotel in Singapore, he directly borrowed the name from James Hilton's 1933 novel, ”Lost Horizon,” which features a fictional utopian valley called Shangri-La. The brand was inspired by this, aiming to offer guests a sense of tranquility, peace, and a home-away-from-home feeling. The hotel lobby is grand, elegant, and stylish. During check-in, both the front desk ladies and gentlemen were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, truly making me feel at home. The room was spacious and bright, thoughtfully laid out with a sofa and chairs. Pulling back the curtains revealed a stunning panoramic view of the distant Purple Mountain and Xuanwu Lake – truly the beautiful scenery of Nanjing laid bare. The mattress was just the right firmness, and the pillows were soft and comfortable, aiding a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spacious, and the smart shower facilities were comprehensive. The quality of the linens and the attention to detail in the room truly made the stay experience exceptional. Every hotel employee, from the middle managers in suits to the housekeeping staff and the attendants guiding traffic at the hotel entrance, greeted me with a polite ”Hello.” What particularly moved me was seeing a male employee, about fifty-something, diligently cleaning a stain off the carpet in the ground floor coffee shop early in the morning. His focused dedication was truly touching. This clearly demonstrates the hotel's management, service philosophy, and the professional ethics and dedication of its staff, all of which fully uphold the brand essence of a five-star hotel. The hotel's breakfast hall is very large, offering a delightful blend of Chinese and Western cuisine with a rich variety. It featured both local Nanjing specialties and classic Western elements. It's no exaggeration to say this was the most abundant breakfast I've had this year, both domestically and internationally, far surpassing five-star hotels in Japan. However, it's encouraged to take small portions and return for more, rather than wasting food. As the saying goes, every grain of rice and drop of broth comes with hard work; every thread and fiber reminds us of the difficulty of acquiring resources. The hotel's location boasts a prime advantage, directly facing East Xinmofan Road, and Central Road is just a left turn from the ground-floor coffee bar. The hotel stands gracefully between these two roads, exuding an understated elegance. Metro Line 1 is right around the corner, and several bus routes are nearby. Whether by metro, bus, or taxi, getting around is incredibly convenient. It's also very close to Xuanwu Lake. Strolling along the lakeside at sunset, with a gentle breeze caressing my face, left me feeling refreshed and utterly content. The only minor flaw I found was that the freezer in the pastry section, labeled ”ice cream,” was empty. This was a bit disappointing. If it had been there, wouldn't it have been even more perfect? However, this minor imperfection doesn't overshadow the overall excellence. Next time I visit Nanjing, Shangri-La will be my only choice."

"First time staying here, got a west-facing room with a great view. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge, all very clean and tidy. The service was excellent. We were traveling with a child, and watching the sunset from the room was lovely. Getting to Nanjing Eye for sunrise the next morning was also super convenient. The little one absolutely loved it, definitely exceeded our expectations!"
