A very nice resort perfectly located to see all the sites. A block away from Duval. Our room was large with excellent water views. The pool and restaurant are well appointed. If you dont mind the cruise ship.parking at your front door this is a top pick.

This was our first stay at the Opal Key Resort & Marina, and it was absolutely wonderful! The arrival process is very easy. They have a great lobby staff, and you can choose to self-park in the adjacent garage, or to use their valet service. The location couldn't be better, especially if you intend to have a meal at The Latitudes (which we did). Lolita's Coastal Cocina is right off the back of the Opal and is really one of the very best for both quality of the food, the service, and the amazing ambiance. Our room was clean, quiet and had all the amenities that one could want. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Key West.

Andre at the front desk was great! I had a lot of difficulty with the website to book reservations at latitudes restaurant on Sunset key. Andre went above and beyond to help me get the reservation made. He is an asset to this hotel!

The location was superb - right on the marina where everyone gathers to watch the sunset and a stone's throw from Duval Street. The room's were comfortable and clean and the service was excellent. We also had a wonderful breakfast at Lolita's which overlooked the bay. Highly recommended if you are visiting the Keys.

I reserved a mobility accessible room for 3 days the week of October 13th. I was expecting a mobility accessible room……. What I got was a bar next to the toilet. Nothing else!! No shower seat. No wheelchair accessible sink and a spring door that wouldn’t stay open for easy access in and out of the room. Speaking to the front desk didn’t help. The 2 men there at check in on Tuesday the 14th sounded like a broken record. Nothing they could do but please let us know if you need anything! Yes I needed a mobility accessible room. We arrived early and were advised to park in the garage until our room was ready but guess what …….. the garage had no elevator or accessible walkway. I paid $7 to be in the garage for 10 minutes. Location is great for this place and the onsite restaurant is amazing but if you’re handicapped stay somewhere else. Definitely not ADA approved

Now this is what customer service should be!! "AL", the overnight security person, really cares about his customer service; and it shows in more than just his friendly demeanor. Let me explain... I am a complete insomniac, who like to work out in the fitness center in the middle of the night. After having forgotten my access key, AL, was not only smiling and friendly (at 3am), he even walked me to the fitness center and showed me around!! This type of customer service is very rare these days. Most of the time, when I encounter the overnight staff, they are not necessarily nasty, but (in my experience), they have never gone that "extra mile". I just wanted to mention this, as the staff at a hotel can either make or break an experience. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, AL!!
