We loved The Palms Hotel and would absolutely stay here again. We booked the petite queen room and it was actually more spacious than we expected. It had a refrigerator and coffee maker in it. We also loved the complimentary shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The staff was very friendly and even let us check in 30 minutes early at no charge. The air conditioner kept the room nice and cold and the bed was comfortable. We loved the historic look and feel and the location was perfect. We were less than one mile from everything in Key West. The free breakfast was an incredible value bc food in key west is pricey! There were bagels, sausage, eggs, fruit, cereal, yogurt, waffles, juice and more. There is a vending machine onsite with drinks and snacks and we used it frequently. We were very happy with our stay and definitely recommend it!

Absolutely loved my stay at The Palms Hotel especially the architecture and colours. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though it wasn't in town I really enjoyed my walks through the side streets taking in the Key West house styles. You can hire bikes too from there. My room 206a was very clean and comfortable. I loved sitting on the porch and having a swim. Breakfast is included and was nice sitting around talking to other guests. I've already recommended it to friends.

Nicely maintained historic buildings. Staff is courteous and helpful but not available at night. Rooms are simple and very clean but noise from other guests nearby can be bothersome. No smoking rooms but smoking area near your room can be annoying. Breakfast by pool is pleasant.

Nice place to stay. Rooms are small, so if you have more than 2 adults, it can be tight. Luggage is where it gets tight. Nice breakfast downstairs by the pool. Full service bar opens in the evening. Weather was accommodating so we sat outside to enjoy the bar. Swimming pool is one of the biggest i have seen in the Keys. All and i would stay there again.

Although you know the hotel has been around for a while, everything is pristine, new, and professionally done. I was very happy with everything and would definitely stay there again.

The property is very nice The workers there work very hard to keep the place spotless breakfast in the morning was great The pool bar was fun rooms are clean
On site parking is very limited so you have to park on the street

Charming historic hotel.. at edge of old town. Walkable bikable etc. Beds good, our room was spacious (double queen). Unique experience. Breakfast fine, substantial (hot/cold). Small staff I guess.. sometimes late aft or evening no one in office which was mildly annoying as stopped us from doing a few things or waiting - aka getting pool towels, renting a hotel bike one time.. But overall would recommend. Good value for low/mid-price hotel (off-season anyway). Pool like many pools pretty small, maybe enjoyable for kids.. Wasn’t there for pool. Parking can be problematic, 4 spaces in back, even in off season we had to search side streets a lot one night when we lost our hotel spot. Sadly pool bar and happy hour closed when there (off season mid week), too bad as was feature looking forward to. Could buy drinks in office instead and take to pool, but not that ‘resort feeling.’
