We stayed at the apartments opposite the hotel but ate dinner in the hotel, every night. Such a wonderful restaurant - a real experience. The salad and dessert buffet was incredible and the other meals were fantastic and really unusual. Wonderful staff who remembered our drinks order every night. Superb!

Fantastic hotel, and highly recommended. Stayed here for four nights half board on a ladies ski trip. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Food was outstanding, great cocktails created at the bar by Vanya and his colleagues. Ski and heated boot room very convenient. Well located in centre of Kaprun, equipment hire shops close by and only a short walk to the main lift or bus stop. Enjoyed the relaxing pool and spa area after skiing, also nice spacious area to sit and play games after dinner in the bar area. Rooms a good size, requested twin beds before we arrived and this was done with no problem. If you are coming to Kaprun stay here!

Reasonable priced 4 day ski escape with friends, booked via a ski holiday provider so wasn't expecting much! Beautiful spacious clean rooms, super friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff. Within 30 mins of arrival we were ready to ski with ski hire and passes sorted. Food.....amazing. A la carte menu every night, so different to the usual stodge. Local delicacies and loads of veg/salad. Far and away the best ski hotel. 3 min walk to lift or bus stop for 16 min ride to ski zell am see but Kaprun skiing good too. Alo good for non skiers, great spa and walking access to glacier. A little gem 💎

Excellent stay at the Alpenhaus in Kaprun. Clean and nicely done rooms, great balance between nice alpine chalet and contemporary style. Excellent breakfast and dinner, and they served an afternoon snack at the bar as well. Spa facilities - different saunas, indoor and outdoor swimming pools - were excellent, we also tried the small gym - practical enough for holiday workouts ;). Parking onsite is available. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. In October you still get the Kaprun summer card for discounts, we did not go about too much because we were lucky with skiing conditions. Kitzsteinhorn cabin lifts are a 10 min drive. Excellent stay, looking forward to going back!

Very bad
I was given the worst room in the When I asked them to change my room, they excused themselves by saying that the hotel was fully booked and that I had another room for another guest. This is disgusting discrimination. I will not repeat the experience. They ruined my vacation.
