This was my second stay here. The ambiance is great, and the place is spotlessly clean. Our room overlooked beautiful mountain views, and it's easy to reach nearby viewpoints to see the snow-capped mountains. My impression of Xinduqiao was that the entire town seemed to consist solely of hotels, B&Bs, and restaurants. I ended up picking this place somewhat randomly, and it turned out to be quite decent. For a small town on a tourist route, it offers good value for money. Parking was convenient, and there's a restaurant right downstairs. I was just passing through and needed a temporary stopover, and the owner even mentioned that the ground floor rooms are excellent.

The altitude in Kangding is quite manageable. The guesthouse is conveniently located right on G318 National Highway, which is ideal for road trippers and won't interfere with your onward journey plans. The food served here is also excellent.
