Kangding Hotels with Bars

We enjoyed the opportunity to have a hotel in Kangding that provided an authentic ******* feel! The room was very comfortable with all necessary amenities covered. When we needed help to organize some logistics, the husband and wife owners went out of their way to talk with us on WeChat and solve our needs. The trip would have been difficult without their help. Overall the hotel is beautiful and comfortable, just the location is up a steep hill which was an intense walk with our backpacks.

The hotel is strategically located and quiet. The front desk was polite and welcoming. Upgraded the suite. The whole house is wooden structure. The room is spacious, clean and beautiful. The bedding is comfortable. There is floor heating. At night, I had a high headache and the front desk helped me send an oxygen inhaler. It felt much better immediately. thanks.

Black Barley Hotel is really the best hotel in Xinduqiao, Sichuan Province, where we have been so many times. The scenery of the hotel is also beautiful. The room facilities are also very good in the local area. The facilities are complete. The hot water bath is very comfortable. And as long as the room is sufficient, it will be upgraded for those with children. The hotel's breakfast is also very good, and there are freshly cooked rice noodles and freshly ground coffee. Drinking coffee facing the snow scene is so healing. When I just checked in, it was very cold. There was a charcoal fire in the lobby for heating. Brown sugar ginger tea was prepared for the guests. It was freezing when it rained while camping. I felt comfortable immediately after drinking it and didn't have a runny nose. The room was turned on for the guests in advance. And when I was having breakfast, I met a very well-behaved brother. At first I thought he was the child of the staff, but later I heard from them that he was an orphan adopted by the hotel. The hotel is really very humane. Our family feels that it is better than Songzan, which we stayed in during the summer vacation.

This hotel was sold during the pandemic and the new owners are doing a great job slowing repairing the grounds. Beautiful gardens and the rooms, dishing and reception areas are all lovely. We booked this place because it has a pool. Well the pool was broken and clearly a long way down the list of things to fix. During this COVID times I can’t imagine guest numbers are huge and we appreciated the really friendly staff and what they have fixed up so far. There are several dogs and cats at the hotel, which our kids loved. I did not like the big Labrador drooling on my leg during our dinner and asked the staff to remove it from the dining room. One of the other dogs also entered our room uninvited. We have a dog back home in Beijing and are dog people, but I suggest to the management of this hotel that they keep their pets away from the dining and guests areas. The food was nicely present and we had one of the few genuinely good coffees here. That coffee was a highlight of the week. Staff spoke excellent English and were always welcoming and helpful. I recommend this hotel and suggest you keep in mind that older reviews are not reflective of current owners and that facilities do not appear as pictured.

Although the service attitude of the boss is very good, I still have to say that this is the worst place to sleep in Xiaohuan in Western Sichuan, because this B&B is right on the edge of the national highway, 0 distance away! Downstairs, heavy trucks drove past one after another all night long. The roar of their engines and the sound of horns from time to time kept them awake all night. The windows of the B&B are single-layer glass and wooden windows with large gaps and no sound insulation at all. After a day of traveling and being unable to sleep at night, think about what it feels like!

The hotel is not in the urban area of ​​Kangding, but it is very close. There is a residential area opposite, and there are many vehicles passing by the road at the door. You can only reach the room floor by swiping the room card, which is quite good. The overall style is Ibis style. There is welcome hot tea at the door. The room is not big, but the infrastructure is complete. One suggestion is that the breakfast is a bit cold. It can be guaranteed that the food is at least warm before the meal, because the temperature outside is low. I want to have a hot and comfortable breakfast, but the staple food is cold. Fortunately, the porridge is hot. Also, because there is a room note when booking, but the front desk probably didn't see it, so I gave the first and last room of the 01 corridor. Because I was a little tired, I didn't bother anymore. I hope the front desk can see the note and meet the needs.

On the first day I came to the plateau, I found this homestay on the Internet. The young lady who stayed there was very enthusiastic and helped us check in. The room was very airy, with floor heating and a pool. Because I didn’t dare to take a bath on the plateau on the first day, but the water was very hot and comfortable. Come back when you are ready for a hot day!

The service is thoughtful and the room hygiene is also very good. It is clean and hygienic. This is the most important thing. I stayed for one night. The room is very good and will come again next time

The day before, I climbed Niubei Mountain, which is more than 3,000 meters high. On the second day of the trip, I wanted to stay in a hot spring hotel near Kangding to relax. The decoration and equipment of this B&B are very good! There were four of us, and the hotel upgraded us to a friend's room and gave us two free breakfasts. Because the hot springs in the B&B are indoor and open-air, my two girls and I wanted to soak in the indoor private hot springs. The hotel also helped us book a private hot spring near the hotel. The private hot spring is a 7-minute walk from the hotel, and the hotel staff was very considerate in providing pick-up and drop-off for us. After eating soup pot for a few days, we didn’t want to eat soup pot anymore. The B&B restaurant also provides some stir-fried dishes, which taste very good! Breakfast the next day is a large bowl of rice noodles with coffee or milk. The hotel staff were also nice enough to heat up leftover dinner from the night before. After a full breakfast and a good rest, it’s another day full of energy!

The hotel's facilities, services, and hygiene can be seen from other reviews of the hotel as being very good. The following highlights can definitely stand out from many hotels in Xinduqiao: 1. The hotel is next to National Highway 318, but it is separated by a building from the national highway. No matter which room you stay in the hotel at night, it is very quiet; 2. The room is heated 24 hours a day, and is equipped with an air humidifier and an oxygen concentrator. It is especially friendly to families who are afraid of the cold or have children and elders; 3. There are mountains and lakes behind the hotel. When we went, it was the best season for yellow leaves. From the room, we could see the blue sky, snowy mountains and mountains full of yellow leaves; 4. Finally, praise the boss. Whether it is hardware or service, you can feel the boss's intention and sincerity.
