KKR Hotel Kanazawa Reviews

The hotel is a short cab ride from the train station and located close to the castle and gardens. There are some restaurants close by and downtown is a short walk away. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast buffet was excellent. highly recommend it but it does sell out at popular times.

The front desk asked my name right away and I got in smoothly. By the way, this hotel is usually quite expensive, so I was able to stay here for about half the price. Parking was 1,000 yen. Kanazawa Castle is right in front of the hotel, and Omicho is only a 10-minute walk away. I recommend it. Be careful as the price fluctuates. Also, other hotels without breakfast usually cost about 12,000 yen, and business hotels with breakfast cost about 9,000 yen during the cheap season, so I think it was very good value for money.

The car park has both flat and multi-storey parking, and can accommodate a large number of cars, which was very convenient for me as I had to go in and out of the car many times depending on the need. The park is located on the north side across the road from Kanazawa Castle, so for my morning jog, I crossed the road and entered the castle from the north entrance, passed through the castle and crossed the overpass and soon reached Kenrokuen. The castle is free to enter, and Kenrokuen is also free in the early morning hours. First thing in the morning, there were only a few people in Kenrokuen, so I was able to jog comfortably. It was a wonderful location, and the upgraded room was refreshing. I thoroughly enjoyed Ishikawa's local cuisine for breakfast. Thank you very much.

Perhaps because the facilities are old and the dishes are large, cleaning is not done well and it gives the impression of being "a little lacking in cleanliness." This is just my impression. I think the number of employees has been reduced, but there are many disappointing aspects such as the selection of products at the shop and the closed bar, which gives the impression that it "used to be lively," but there was nothing that made me want to return. Sorry. However, although it is far from the station, it is in a very good location right in front of the Kanazawa Castle ruins, so I thought it was a shame.

The facilities were old and it was an old business hotel. The breakfast buffet was nothing special, so don't expect too much. The location is good if you want to go to Kanazawa Castle or Kenrokuen Garden.

Despite our late arrival, we were given a thorough explanation of the area and discussed the next day's schedule.

今回の金沢旅行で東茶屋、兼六園、21世紀美術館、石浦神社がこのホテルから徒歩圏内でとても便利でした！ 金沢駅は車で混んでいなければ5分ぐらいで着けると思いますが18時頃に行った為、渋滞しましたが10分ぐらいで駅のロータリーのパーキングに停めることができました 部屋もとても広いし、清潔感もあり綺麗だったし、 アメニティーもあり、1番嬉しかったのが足用のアロマシートがあり助かりました！心遣いがありがたいです ただお風呂とトイレが凄く小さくて残念でした… でも金沢へ来た時はまたこのホテルを利用したいです

兼六園はじめ観光地が徒歩圏内でとても良い。

お部屋は広くはないけど清潔感があって、ベッドも寝心地良かったです。

現地に行って気がついた事ですが、ホテルから各観光場所へのアクセスが思っていた以上に良かった。 アメニティにあった、足用の湿布がとても嬉しかったです。 金沢を訪れる際にはまた利用したいと思いました。

朝食がもう少しだった 生*があれば嬉しいかったです
