After a little research on line we decided on this hotel for our pre-Christmas break away in the sun. We were not to be disappointed in any way. this 5 star adults only resort was far and away above our expectations, it was immaculate and kept that way by the mainly Filipino staff, the Greek staff were also amazing, they all brought a calm no fuss ambiance to the resort. We opted for b&b on this occasion as there are many eateries locally easily accessible by the brilliant bus service. We did have a couple of evening meals, and the offering was great. There are 8 swimming pools on site and a gym, we are very surprised to find a vegetable garden fully stocked with fresh veg. There are plenty of bars and entertainment every night, and there are a couple of shops on site and a mini market a short walk away. Overall, it was a fantastic 10-day stay at this superb hotel.

We stayed here for 4 nights with our 16 year old after moving from Helea next door that was just far to full of children for us, we wanted the peace and relaxation that Elissa offered. From the moment we arrived the reception staff were truly great, nothing seemed too much trouble, always friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, it really is, the views are gorgeous too. The room was wonderful 7309 the fridge was always well stocked, towels changed and cleaned well and it opened straight out to a large pool and bar so felt really like we didn't need to move far at all around the hotel, we did though and enjoyed sitting around the main pool area too. The pools are very cold, which im sure in the high season when it's super hot and very welcoming but they were just too cold to fully enjoy in October, it was very funny people watching as they tried to suffer the cold dip though. We stayed the week the hotel was closing down on the weekend and left the Wednesday before they shut down. And this was evident. The food was excellent the amount of choice was great and it was always very fresh. Again the staff in the restaurants were absolutely great. Our only disappointment was that as our 4 day stay went on, we were denied certain things, Moet is included in the AI and I'm not sure if they limited the number of glasses allowed to each room number daily as they ask your room number everytime you order something but very often I was told Moet has finished today and offered a sweet sparkling wine instead which just wasnt the same, then the day before the final day of our stay we were told no more Moet at all because we are closing down, this also happened with a sauvignon blanc we enjoyed, now I didn't make a fuss as its not the staffs fault and they did seem awkward telling us no more left but actually, the hotel was still very much open, with guests that had paid good money to stay there and to have all the food and drink on offer for the entirety off their stay, not be told we are closing its gone now you cant have it, this is a big mistake by the management and actually made me quite angry as we weren't getting what we expected from the hotel, this is a real shame as this is a truly fabulous place that I would recommend to anyone and also we would like to return to year on year but only so long as I knew that guests would get exactly what they expected each day. Also the food was always great but the last 2 days there were definitely some dishes that had been re used and some meals were clearly use up meals put together by the chefs, whilst this is good so as to limit waste there was a couple of strange offerings, that said the rest of the food was always wonderful. Overall Elissa is possibly one of the most tranquil, relaxing and lovely hotels we have been to, the staff are a total credit to the manager and we would love to come again, with friends or as a family, but possibly not choose the last week of the season for the reasons stated.

Georgia was incredible - I have a Nut allergy and she spoke me through the menu, advising me on what I can and can’t have as well as her personal recommendations.

Wonderful staff! They really are attentive to your needs and nothing is difficult for them, food was amazing, location is great, all really good The negative is the neighbours are a little noisy until 11pm but that's fine and expected, never was an issue as who goes to bed before 11pm on holidays?? The facilities are great, the small beach area allocated to Elissa guests could be policed a little better as neighbouring hotel guest (some with little smelly people) used up the best sun loungers, but again not a real problem! Overall a really positive feeling and no real issues. I'd strongly suggest investing in new quieter fridges.... If these issues are the worst I could bring up then it shows how good this holidays was, so thanks! Really enjoyed our stay, so 5* review from me.

A big complex but very friendly. It smelt gorgeous! Very clean and comfortable, and 11 swimming pools to choose from. Easy access to the sea (warmer than the pools!). We didn’t hire a car, as we travelled to Rhodes town (15 minutes), Kallithea Springs (2 stops down) and Lindos (an hour away) by bus from just outside the complex entrance - very frequent and cheap. Several good restaurants nearby. Breakfast at the hotel was superb-huge choice. My only criticism was the loud music that was played during breakfast. This was also a feature by some of the pools (the ones with bars) but if you couldn’t zone it out, there were plenty of quieter locations.

Absolutely amazing! Definitely would recommend 100% and already planning to go back ourselves. Everything was perfect from when we stepped foot in the hotel to when we left. Staff were brilliant and always friendly, shout out to Ben the Housekeeper! Elissa is the perfect chilled getaway, no crowding sunbeds and always fast bar service. We had a swim-up room by Rodini bar and we would definitely stay in that area again. All restaurants were perfect but would really recommend booking them as soon as you arrive as they do book up fast. The spa was so good and would recommend the after sun treatment for 50 mins of bliss! 10/10 hotel!

We were excited for our stay, but it quickly became clear this hotel prioritized style over practicality. We paid extra for a "sea view" room, but were placed at the back of the resort with a barely visible view, mostly blocked by trees and buildings. Despite contacting both EasyJet and the hotel, nothing could be done. The cleanliness of the room was subpar, with dust, stains, and chipped furniture. When we raised this, the hotel promised extra cleaning, but housekeeping was inconsistent in its own respect. With dirty cups not replaced, towels not replaced, and we had to call reception multiple times to even request toilet roll, even after the cleaners had been in. The pool areas weren’t much better, with sticky tables, poor upkeep, and not enough staff to serve, meaning very long waits for food and drinks. Our stay was further interrupted by some logistical issues. We had the fire alarm go off twice during our stay, once in the early evening and again around 10:30pm, apparently due to faults in the system. Not ideal when you’re trying to relax and our entire building was evacuated both times, with no staff coming up to check or help until we had all given up and gone back to our rooms. The food was equally disappointing too. Breakfast was often cold, there were no fresh cooking stations, and everything was kept lukewarm under heat lamps, making us massively regret opting for all-inclusive. We ended up eating out most nights in Rhodes Old Town - We’d massively recommend El Toro and Ill Borgo for this. Additionally, we had issues with the dinner reservations - our meal booking was not recognized at one restaurant despite it being booked by Guest Services, and at another, we were interrupted mid-meal by Guest Services asking about our stay. While we understood they wanted feedback, this was hardly the right moment when we were trying to enjoy our one decent meal. We also encountered issues with having lunch on-site. We tried to eat at the beach bar, but were told we couldn’t eat at the stools there. We moved to the Siana bar, where halfway through eating, we were told to move because we couldn’t eat there either. The staff didn’t seem to know where guests were actually allowed to eat, and the lack of available seating made it even more frustrating. This was largely due to sun-bed reservations (which is apparently ‘forbidden, but is absolutely rife). Speaking of bars, if you enjoy any atmosphere in the evening, this hotel is not the place for you. The bar area lacked any real vibe, and seating was scarce outdoors. The only entertainment was background music from a DJ, which hardly set the mood for an enjoyable night. In summary, this hotel looks great from the outside but is far from a 5-star experience inside. We were continually disappointed, and after speaking to other guests, it was clear that we weren’t the only ones who felt this way. The main positives were its proximity to the airport and Rhodes Old Town, and while the drinks were de
