"First time in Rhodes we arrived late at night, reception provided wraps and the bar was open till midnight. We booked a superior seaview room which was lovely, spotless and large. Cleaners were in daily with fresh towels and water. The food was delicious and also at the pool area you had the choice of breakfast then they changed for lunch the gyros and pizza were excellent couldn’t fault anything. At 4 pm everyday they made crepes and the queues for these were long so they must have been good. All the staff in this hotel are very nice and friendly nothing is a bother to them. They work hard. The hotel is vast and there are golf buggies to get people about if they want it. The entertainment is much similar to most AI hotels. There is a shuttle bus that takes you to Rhodes Old town we used this 3 times in our weekly holiday if you scan the app at reception it shows the timetable and you can book. It was 18 euro for both of us return trip. We got the 11 pm return and had the bus to ourselves. We are already planning to return to this hotel next year for two weeks we enjoyed it that much."

"We would rate the hotel 4.5/10 overall. If it were presented as a good four-star hotel, we would probably be much more understanding of many of the issues and our rating would be noticeably higher. However, as a newly rated five-star hotel, we do not believe it currently meets the level you would expect from a five-star property. Our biggest disappointment was the food and the overall dining experience. The food was often poorly seasoned, the selection felt quite limited considering the size of the hotel, and some dishes were cold or only lukewarm. The presentation was also often not very appealing. The buffet area itself felt too small for such a large hotel, and many dishes were not properly labelled, so at times you did not even know exactly what you were taking. The food options outside the main restaurant were also fairly limited. At the beach area, the choice was mostly things such as gyros, pizza, omelettes and similar items. From a five-star resort, we would expect a wider variety, including fruit, lighter snacks and more options throughout the day. The service and overall dining standards also did not feel like five-star quality. Some members of staff seemed inexperienced, and even some basic principles of service and table setting appeared to be missing. The table setup, presentation and overall atmosphere of the dining area felt more like what we would expect from a three-star hotel rather than a five-star resort. There was a minibar in the room, but it was not replenished during our stay. At a five-star hotel, we would expect this to be part of the standard service. We were also disappointed with our room. We did not book a standard room, but a deluxe room with a sea view. For that reason, it was even more disappointing that a significant part of the view was taken up by the hotel’s air-conditioning and ventilation equipment. The machinery was also quite noisy. In our opinion, rooms located directly next to such technical facilities should not be sold as deluxe rooms with a sea view. These rooms would be more suitable for staff, technical purposes or perhaps hotel entertainers. The mattresses were also much too soft for our preference. At check-out, we came across another issue that we would not expect from a five-star hotel. In the luggage room, there was no safe or lockable storage where guests could securely leave passports, money or other valuables. There was also no option to have food or a takeaway package prepared for the journey home, which is another service we would expect from a hotel in this category. The beach itself was pleasant, although in our opinion it could have been cleaned more frequently and more thoroughly. To be fair, not everything was negative. The hotel surroundings are attractive, the property itself is pleasant, and the room was otherwise nice. Many aspects of the stay were perfectly fine and we were still able to enjoy our holiday. "I have to start with the rooms. Reading the mixed reviews I was a bit worried and that became real when we where placed on the baggage cart and drove the back of beyond to a room that looked like the front door was being he’d together with blue electricians tape down the door. The handle didn’t work and you had to literally slam the door to get the latch to close. Before you could lock it with the key. The water park was ok, lack of floats for the rides ment waiting quite a while as people just kept them knowing they would have to wait longer for another ride. The wave pool is a let down. Find it hard to call it a wave pool tbh. Some basic lack of maintaining stuff like barriers sun Loungers etc The same as in with other reviews the night life starts of ok but reminds me of songs around Christmas time when all you here is the same, all I want for Xmas is you every time 10mins. Noise from the acc was like sleeping or trying to relax next to a car crusher. Apart from that it would have been quite we where that far from the main resort. In the 7 nights we have been here I have seen the cleaning crew once and that was when they let them selfs in a 8.30am while me and my son where still fast asleep. Which was quite disturbing. For the amount of money I spent on the holiday I can comfortably say I’m very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend going here for the price you pay."

"After spending 4 nights here we have nothing but praise for this hotel. Everything was perfect. The location is spot on, not too far to walk to the centre. Rooms were gorgeous. Pool area amazing. Pool bar and lady was so nice. Breakfast beautiful. Spotlessly clean. Lovely resident cats. Would highly recommend. The only thing we felt was missing was a safe and some hooks to hang towels. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"Great resort if you look to spend a total relaxed holiday. Situated right on the beach with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. The outdoor pool is fairly big, though the water is cold in April. There's also an heated indoor pool if you fancy a dip in warm water. Rhodes it's only 20 minutes by bus. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. I'd highly recommend to spend sometime in Rhodes old town. It's worthy the trip. Another place worthy to visit is Lindos, especially the beach. Food in Esperos mare Hotel is excellent, there's not been once it has disappointed. The variety of food top of the range from breakfast to dinner. Freshly cooked and satisfactory. Very clean and tidy. Staff very attentive and happy to help. Overall I'd give this place 10/10"

"We had a truly fantastic time at the Amada Colossos Resort. Everything was perfect! The pool is simply stunning; we spent a lot of time there. We spent every evening at the bar until late because the atmosphere was excellent—though we visited often during the day, too—and the cocktails were divine. The staff were incredibly friendly, funny, and helpful. The food in the main restaurant is fantastic and of very high quality; there is something to suit everyone's taste. I would like to make special mention of a lady from the main restaurant staff. During dinner, a wonderful hostess helped guests find their seats; she coordinated the guests using a headset while smiling the whole time—she was incredibly kind and cheerful, yet extremely professional and polite. Unfortunately, I am sad because I didn't find out her name before we left. but she was wearing a black blazer and a name tag; she wore glasses, had her brown hair in a bun, and wore beatiful elegant makeup. She truly made the evenings special. I would be very grateful if management could identify her and pass on our appreciation! She is a real asset to your team."
