位置非常好，在建水古鎮的巷子裏，離文廟一牆之隔，屋頂可以看到文廟的湖光。不過巷子裏就是停車不便，路窄，會車會有些麻煩。
整個民宿設計比較用心，床品，衞浴用品，玻璃，造景都看得出老闆對品質的追求。
木地板熱脹冷縮有些嘎吱嘎吱，整體上無傷大雅。
早餐很用心，當地特色草芽米線+飲品+水果+特色小吃，可以看到工作人員在廚房現做，營養均衡又衞生放心。
老闆和工作人員非常熱情，她説住民宿就是要像住家裡一樣舒服，也確實做到了賓至如歸。
價格在建水不算便宜，整體感受下來也物有所值。預算內的話可以來此享受鬧中取靜，古中有新以及倒屣相迎。
