"Boasting a prime river view, you can lie in bed and soak in the stunning Chongqing nightscape – truly an authentic hidden gem of a river-view hotel! The room was spotless and incredibly chic, with a fantastic design and a spacious, airy feel. The location is absolutely superb, close to Hongyadong, Chaotianmen, Raffles City, Jiefangbei, and Guanyinqiao. You can even walk to the Riverside Park, and transportation is incredibly convenient. Enjoying the mountain city's river and night views, my stay was simply perfect!"

"Excellent location in the heart of the lively (and very touristy) Yuzhong district. Very well served by public transport. Easy access from the train station. A very warm welcome from the reception staff. The room I was given (17th floor) was perfect. Spacious, well-furnished and equipped, bright, clean, and comfortable. A quiet and pleasant place if you're not constantly sightseeing. Beautiful view of the city. Very good quality bedding. Very clean and comfortable sheets, duvets, and pillows. Good-sized bathroom. Very clean as well. Good quality bath towels. The wall-mounted towel/clothes rack is poorly placed above the toilet, which is neither practical nor hygienic. And the electric towel warmer wasn't working. The room is equipped with a hairdryer, electric kettle, small refrigerator, garment steamer, and small safe. Bottled water is provided daily. In addition to coffee (in the morning) and herbal tea (all day) available in the spacious lobby with its river view, there is also a microwave and ice maker. The room's Wi-Fi was excellent. The lighting was good, and the electrical outlets were compatible with European plugs without the need for an adapter. USB ports were also available. The central air conditioning was efficient and quiet. There was a large wall mirror at the entrance to the room. Drawbacks: 1. As a non-smoker, and having specifically requested a non-smoking room in my reservation, I found the lingering smell of smoke in the room upon arrival very unpleasant. 2. There was no dedicated luggage storage, as is common in many hotels in China; therefore, luggage was left open on the floor for the entire stay. 4. It's a shame there wasn't a small armchair and table to furnish the small mezzanine area of the room to better enjoy the view and the room's space. Bonus: Laundry service with four self-service washing machines on the 18th floor. Detergent provided. I really liked the drying area equipped with portable electric dryers, which are less damaging to clothes than regular tumble dryers. Breakfast restaurant: this is the only downside. Located on the 15th floor of the building (which houses several hotels). Buffet breakfast from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. The place is cozy with a lovely view. However, depending on the day and time of day, it can be cramped and noisy, too small to comfortably accommodate all the guests without enough proper high tables. As a result, I ended up having to share my table with noisy people chewing and burping, when all I wanted was to enjoy a peaceful breakfast. The buffet wasn't extraordinary, but it was decent and well-stocked. The gym area is in the same room, separated by a half-wall (I'm not even sure I can call it a gym when there are only four machines crammed together with no space around them, and where the food bin and the restaurant's dirty dish cart are also located. Forget about getting a workout in the morning!). It's a shame they don't offer a better, quieter breakfast area for this crucial moment at the start of the day. Overall, the value for money is still quite good, even if it's significantly more expensive than Chengdu, for example, for a hotel of the same standard."

Stepping into the lobby, I was immediately struck by the elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is refined and stylish, with meticulous attention to detail that creates a truly comfortable environment. The front desk staff were warm and professional, handling check-in efficiently and quickly. They patiently answered all my questions throughout the process and even helped me with my luggage upon arrival. A big thank you to that lady – she seemed to be a team leader or manager, dressed differently and appearing more professional and knowledgeable, with a radiant smile. She proactively offered travel advice and her demeanor was gentle and thoughtful. I was assigned a room on the 31st floor, which was spacious, bright, and well-laid-out. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The room was spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors, and the bathroom facilities were complete and pristine. The toiletries were excellent; I even asked for a link when I left, but unfortunately, they are custom-made. My hair felt incredibly soft after using their shampoo. My entire stay was wonderfully comfortable and pleasant, without a single complaint. I will definitely choose the Ashley Hotel again for my next trip and will enthusiastically recommend it to my friends. Such a high-quality hotel deserves to be chosen by more people!"

"The room was spacious and beautiful. My parents were very satisfied with it during our family trip, and the night view was absolutely stunning! There are also plenty of restaurants and shops downstairs, and all the nearby attractions are within walking distance. "Came to Chongqing for my kid's spring break, and the hotel's location is excellent – you can see Jiefangbei right from the main entrance. However, the hotel is quite old. The air conditioning units feel like they're from a renovation ten years ago. Because it was raining the day we arrived, the room also had a strong musty smell, and there was a bad odor from the bathroom drains. We arrived too late that day to switch rooms, but I did communicate the situation to the front desk when checking out. They responded very quickly, and their service attitude is definitely commendable. With the room rate approaching 900 near the May Day holiday, the value for money is questionable. I've stayed at many Hyatt hotels across the country, and this one doesn't stand out for its facilities."

"This was a special offer room at this hotel, around 170 yuan. The front desk is on the 30th floor, and our room is a converted apartment on the 21st floor, split over two levels. Our room was upstairs, and the stairs leading up were a bit narrow. The cleanliness and decor inside were pretty good. However, the hot water for the shower was hard to adjust – it was either cold or scalding hot. The room isn't huge. The location is in Chaotianmen Center, which is really convenient for getting to Raffles City and Hongyadong. There's also a subway station downstairs. This setup is definitely worth the price."

"The Kailira Hotel offers exceptional service, a must-stay when visiting Chongqing. The front desk staff are friendly, generous, polite, and efficient. It's located right in the heart of the Guanyin Bridge business district, about a 5-minute walk to Guanyin Bridge Metro Station, with direct access to Jiangbei Airport and Chongqing North Railway Station. Downstairs, you'll find a bustling pedestrian street and a food street, and Beicang Cultural and Creative Park and Starlight 68 Plaza are also very close by. The rooms feature smart controls, including whole-house voice control, electric curtains, and sleep-aid music. • **Amazing View:** The high-floor city view rooms boast floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking the pedestrian street at night, offering panoramic views of Chongqing's stunning cityscape. The decor is modern and lightly luxurious, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries are of high quality."

"The view from the room is expansive, there are no strange odors, and the facilities are excellent, making for a very comfortable stay. You can even see Jiefangbei from the window. The transportation nearby is convenient, and it's close to Bayi Food Street. Everything is just so convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Chongqing!"

"The room was quite spacious overall. On the first night, I tried a Chinese sweet soup that was mild and delicious, making me feel very comfortable. Many might think the location isn't very convenient, but getting around is actually quite easy; you can just call a ride-hailing service. The hotel is directly connected to an expressway nearby, so there's no waiting at traffic lights, and the ride is smooth, making travel quite efficient. The hotel's gym and pool facilities are excellent, and the space was a bit larger than expected, perfectly adequate for daily use. I had breakfast here for three consecutive days, and the variety of food was quite rich, generally satisfying different tastes. The overall dining experience was decent. You can also explore the surrounding area; it's mostly residential, and you can experience the authentic Chongqing local life among the streets and slopes – simple and full of local character. Overall, the hotel has complete facilities, normal service, and a quiet, comfortable environment with no obvious inconveniences. This stay was generally smooth, with an experience that was moderately good. It not only met my accommodation needs but also allowed me to feel the real daily atmosphere of this mountain city, making it a very satisfactory stay."
