"This was my 3rd stay at the Beatnik, and we always rent all 4 cabins. The rooms and grounds are really nice, but there were several strangers that wandered through the walkway next to the pool throughout the day. We thought nothing of it, but our coolers and belongings left outside were stolen the night of October 18. I reported this to the management / owners to make sure they are aware. I was not look for reimbursement, just letting them know what happened so they can warn future guests or secure the property. I received no response. I believe the ownership group is focused on expansion of other nearby properties. Sadly, the Beatnik property is being left behind."

"This was our first time to stay at The Roost. We stayed in the Monarch Suite not knowing that it backed up to the front desk. We could hear them talking, opening and closing of closet doors, people entering the front desk area, etc. The first night of our stay, someone left the music on all night and we had a hard time sleeping. We told the front desk the next morning and there were no issues the next night. EVERYONE we came into contact with were super nice. The shower was huge and the tub was big enough for 2. We wish they would have breakfast on site. The room did smell a little musty. We would come back but just stay in a different room."
