I don't even know where to begin. What I experienced at the Double Tree Hilton (5-star) is something I've never experienced in any 5-star hotel 🏨...
(I travel to Istanbul 6-7 times). There's no bellboy; you have to carry your luggage to the reception desk (to check in) and then to your room (a long hallway).
I, with my severe disability, already had problems... the next surprise came in the room: Paper cups were provided for hot tea or coffee, and the towels were old and quite frayed. With difficulty, you could ^recognize^ a factory warehouse from the window. The windows were locked with a cylinder lock, and the cleaning lady couldn't clean the windows from the outside (see pictures). The front of the hotel offers a beautiful view of a cemetery (approx. 5,000 sq m).
Shopping is 2 km away... Sights (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, etc.) are 7 km away... I personally will never book this hotel 🏨 again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone..👎👎👎👎👎👎
