Art Hotel Ishigakijima Reviews

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay.

Great service, amenities, and location! There’s a tour desk that can help with planning tours and the hotel has everything you need to have a great relaxing stay. I appreciated the little things such as disposable toiletries, cell charger, pajamas, slippers, small store, restaurant / bar, etc… the spa and bath is also located indoor along with an outdoor pool. We rented a car which helped get around the island and location is convenient to drive to the port to take the ferry if needed. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice infrastructure and rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good coffee place and big pool. Only remark, the place is a bit distant from the center, the port and the bus terminal (15-20 mins walk). Also, if you have tattoos, you can't use the bath (as expected).

Small room. The hotel seemed to be very popular as it was very busy. We. Thought the hotel was very average for the price /rate we paid.

The rooms here are spacious, the facilities are comfortable, and there is a large bath, but it is not open-air. The view of the cafe/bar on the top floor is so beautiful. It really makes people want to stay there all the time

I chose an ocean view room, and it was very beautiful (although the ocean was a little far away), the night view was also wonderful, and the room, front desk, and entrance were all very nice. I will definitely use it again on my next trip to Ishigaki Island.

Very good breakfast

I stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days with breakfast included. For breakfast, I could try Yaeyama soba, which has a different soup flavor every day, and there was a wide variety of food, all of which was delicious 😋 I was very satisfied. My family and I were able to stay in rooms next to each other, which made sightseeing smooth. Also, the Yakiniku Harusa in the building was great! The meat and the xiaolongbao were delicious.

Not bad, clean and hygienic, the buffet dinner is very rich! The dining environment for lunch is great, with great views from high-rise buildings. The large bathhouse is spacious and there are performances at night, which is very interesting.

I'm sure they have it in the public bath, but I didn't use the public bath, so it would have been nice if they had provided lotion in the room. But I might be the only one who didn't bring lotion with me lol

There are four beds, which is enough for a family with two older children, but the suitcases are a bit hard to open. I like the shuttle bus to the beach, but I came back from the beach at 15:30, so I couldn't go to the beach in the evening. There are many breakfast options, and the buffet in the evening is 2000 yen for free room cleaning, which is also a good deal. The bus to the airport also passes by the hotel, so the transportation is quite convenient, but there is no 711 or Family Mart nearby. Taxi from the airport 3300 yen

The barbecue restaurant on the first floor has a good environment. After eating, you can listen to the shamisen and take a bath at 8:30. There is a dumpling restaurant in front of the hotel, which is the southernmost in Japan. I personally think the taste is very good. The boss is a man who fries dumplings with his baby on his back.

10 minutes walk from the city center. Very nice view from the rooms. There is a bus stop for the airport and Kabira Bay below the hotel. The activity booking service offered us a wonderful diving excursion where we were able to see manta rays.
