"Overall, we had a good time. There were three of us and we stayed for two nights. The room was reasonably well-maintained and very welcoming, decorated in shades of white and blue that made it pleasant. The only thing that could be improved was the air conditioning: it's not particularly powerful and only works with the windows completely closed. The cleanliness was excellent, and the staff was always very kind, helpful, and ready to accommodate any request. Breakfast was simple but well-stocked: fruit juice, milk, and water were available, while cappuccino or coffee was prepared upon request. Croissants were served based on the number of guests. There were also yogurt, two types of cereal, a ring cake, a tart, bread for toast, honey, hazelnut spread, butter, and jam. We can't comment on lunch because we never ate it. Dinner, however, was quite good, although the portions could have been a bit larger. The only real downside is the location: the hotel is about five minutes from the port, making it quite noisy. The property also has a small but pleasant pool. Overall, for the few days we spent there, the experience was positive and we had a good time."

"So I always do a proper research when booking hotels and used Trip Advisor to help me with this holiday. It did not disappoint. I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in would most definitely return. Ischia has so much to offer, the hotel was spotless, the staff were over helpful, the ladies on reception, Enzo in the bar & the fabulous Giovanni on the beach!! I just can’t fault it. Breakfast is amazing, dinner also incredible & there is plenty to do, see & eat out of the hotel. Would thoroughly recommend ❤️"

"We returned to this hotel again and the same high standards prevail. A peaceful setting for a really relaxing visit to Ischia. Delicious food, served expertly, lovely wine and cocktails from Ciro, spotless room service and pool, all helped to make the holiday perfect. The hotel is placed in the centre of the main shopping area Via Roma, but a few minutes walk from the beach with all the bars and loungers you could need. So good, we are returning in September! Highly recommend this hotel."

"Hotel Solemar is situated along the chain of family beach clubs of Ischia Porto's waterside, in a relatively quiet neighborhood 3-5 minutes walk from the promenade of shops and restaurants that thrive every summer evening. We had a single room facing a tranquil garden lane, and a double room with a large balcony overlooking the beach. Both rooms were spacious enough to accomodate luggage. Wifi in the single was slow, but the oceanview double had flawless wifi; both rooms had excellent cable with many channels, mostly in Italian, of course. The breakfast was better than most hotels, and the daytime front desk staff and housekeeping ladies exerted themselves to be helpful. PROS: -Location! 10 minute walk to ferry/boat docks, 20 minute walk to Castel Aragonese -Pool, beach clubs ($), big seaside balconies available ($) -Breakfast buffet; lobby bar; friendly, helpful staff -Excellent individual air conditioners CONS: -Smaller size showers in some rooms (e.g., tight fits for "super-sized" North Americas) -Rust and wear-and-tear appropriate to a moderate priced, beachfront family hotel"

"Great hotel, fantastic views, staff can't do enough for you, both pools kept well, rooms clean, great breakfast & bar, the gardens and ground are beautiful only downside is the hotel is on the edge of a cliff hence the fantastic views so if you have mobility issues unfortunately it's not for you."

Hotel Parco Cartaromana

"The property extends over several levels, connected by stairs or descents. It's a bit dated but very well maintained and still very beautiful, a classic Ischian structure. It's family-run, and the reception staff are very kind and helpful. The rooms are independent and each has an adjoining terrace, clean and functional, with air conditioning, a TV, and a refrigerator. There are three swimming pools: one large, one small right outside my room, and an indoor pool with a sauna and heated areas. If I were to be really picky, I'd have to replace the flooring in all three pools because it's worn, with various patches, etc., but they're still very clean and well-maintained despite their age. Lunch is served by the pool (at the bar), and I must say it's very good, from sandwiches, various fried foods, to a hot first and second course, all cooked well and with quality ingredients. The bar staff is friendly and helpful. The price is fair. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED."

The structure is original, detailed and with a unique style that makes it special and different from any other place visiting the island. The room was unpeakable, clean and comfortable, perfect for relaxing, with a wonderful view. It has made us feel like home from the first moment, always available with a smile and valuable advice to live the island best. It was a genuine, warm and atmosphere-rich stay. "We stayed at the Hotel del Postiglione from September 1st to 8th and we wanted to thank all the staff for the courtesy, helpfulness and friendliness that they showed us making us feel at home. In short we had a great time. Simple but clean well equipped room, bed linen and towels always changed, in short a very pleasant surprise. Thank you, we will be back"

"A Little Gem of a hotel situated down a side street and right on the beach. Calm, relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. We had room 102 and although it was a basement room it was in no way dark or dingy, we picked this room because of the seperate private terrace. It was spotless and cleaned every day. At this time of the year (April) it was very quiet but I can't see it being noisy even at the height of the season. Great value for the price we paid. The service was excellent, friendly, efficient and helpful at all times. I would recommend Hotel Rivamare to anyone seeking a no-frills, basic, clean, friendly, family run hotel. We had a lovely time and hope to return in September!"
