Liostasi is an idyllic hotel located on the hill in between the port and the chora. Everything from start to finish was exceptional. The hotel communicated prior to our arrival to arrange the shuttle service from the port to the hotel. We were welcomed at the entrance by Anastasia who kindly led us to reception, where our luggage was taken and delivered directly to our room. We received a tour of the premises and a welcome drink before relaxing by the pool before check-in. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, ensuring we had a relaxed and enjoyable experience. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, showcasing a local cuisine style buffet and eggs a la carte selection. Thank you to the Liostasi staff for such a memorable experience on Ios.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cette magnifique hôtel avec une vue sur le port. L'accueil est très chaleureux, ils viennent vous chercher au port gratuitement et la réceptionniste parle français. Les espaces communs sont très beaux avec des couchers de soleil magnifiques. Petit déjeuner avec un grand buffet au choix au bord de la piscine et également des plats à la carte. Seul bémol, nous avons trouvé la chambre un peu petite avec très peu de rangement. Cependant il y a un grand balcon avec vue qui compense cela. La literie est très confortable.

What a wonderful hotel, everything and everyone was amazing. From the minute you arrived you felt relaxed and at ease, the hotel is not flash but has understated quality with its atmosphere and attitude towards guests. If you want to continually take photos of yourself on holiday for social media then this probably is the wrong hotel for you and you won’t meet kindred spirits!! The restaurant is lovely and the care and attention staff take in looking after you is first class. As a last point the hotel is also great value and has exceeding many rival hotels on other islands that seem to take pride in being expensive without delivering quality. Thanks for a lovely 5 nights with my family, we will no doubt return at some time.

Magnifique hôtel avec une vue sur le port de IOS. Nous avions une suite avec vue mer spacieuse et petite terrasse avec transat. Chambre propre lit hyper confortable mais manque de rangements. Piscine top avec un bar . Petit déjeuner avec un grand buffet au choix au bord de la piscine. Personnel très attentionné, disponible et sympathique.

We were initially apprehensive about booking a hotel in Ios, especially after visiting other Cycladic islands like Mykonos and Santorini. But let us tell you, Liostasi Hotel is in a league of its own, far surpassing even the most luxurious hotels we’ve stayed at elsewhere. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the exceptional hospitality. The breakfast? Absolutely extraordinary, a feast every morning that exceeded all expectations. What made our stay truly unforgettable was the warmth and authenticity of the entire Liostasi team. We genuinely felt like we had become part of a family. A special mention to Anastasia, whose kindness and professionalism elevated our experience beyond anything we imagined. She was truly incredible. Also, a huge thank you to George, such a welcoming and genuinely kind man, and Karima, whose warmth and care left a lasting impression on us. We’ve been going to the Liostasi for almost 12 years and not once have we been disappointed with anything! The hotel is all you could want, stunning surroundings, beautiful rooms, gorgeous pool area, fabulous spa, delicious food, a breakfast to die for and staff who just can’t do enough! We love Ios and the Liostasi is just the icing on the cake! We look forward to going back so much every year because we know we’re going to enjoy every minute and can completely relax!
