Beautiful building with Beautiful scenery. Close proximity to Inverness. Beautiful food. Rooms could do with being slightly updated but that is my only issue. Staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful.

環境非常絕、入住後聽説還是👻酒店更好玩了。周邊風景一流、特別是門口的1700年雪松樹！晚餐也是米其林級的，野鹿肉超級好吃！另外inverness小鎮沒有uber，鎮上衹有2台taxi，記得提前要到司機電話。

Oh my goodness, this was a remarkable tea. I was treated by a friend and it really was something very special. A roaring log fire too, wonderful. I prefer a more savoury tea and requested this specially. We began with a tiny cupful of hot soup, a quail's egg filo tartlet and a hot black pudding sausage roll. Then there were warm scones and an exquisite array of dainty mouthfuls of cake, even a little crême caramel in a tiny copper pan (NB Fiona the charming waitress may rugby tackle you if you attempt to leave with this pan once the caramel is consumed - apparently someone tried this 🤣). The Christmas lunch looks scrumptious too and very good value indeed at £40 for two courses. Please thank the chef for us, a lovely afternoon. 😊🙏🌲

A fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive. The food is excellent, we ate there both nights of our stay. The room was comfortable & all our needs were met. We will definitely looking to do a return visit. Thank you for making our weekend so lovely.

This is a beautiful old house with lots of character and history that has been turned into a comfortable inn. It is far enough away from the city to feel like an isolated visit back to the past, but close enough to be in the heart of Inverness within 10 minutes. Each room is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast were varied in options and delicious and the evening meal also extremely good although with limited options. Definitely a special place.

Views of the Firth are stunning and the hotel is easy to find. Staff are very welcoming and friendly and you immediately have the warm feeling of a family-run place which cares about looking after its guests. Food is really excellent and well worth the price (quality costs). Facilities are very good as far as room sizes, decor, etc are concerned. There are some quibbles. The plumbing is obviously tired and struggling, there are places where a fresh coat of paint is needed but if you want to be looked after and enjoy this beautiful part of Scotland, I'd strongly recommend it.
