I booked this hotel on Ctrip. The building on the homepage picture does not match the actual building. The superior double room I booked does not match the room I booked. The facilities and equipment in the room are old and the room is also dirty.

Maybe it's in a tourist area, the price/performance ratio is average because of the supply and demand relationship. The English breakfast in the hotel in the morning is very stylish.

One of the most pleasant little hotels you can find made even more enjoyable by the kind and happy staff. We loved our room which was super clean, and the traditional breakfast was perfection!

Quiet situation. Average food. Friendly staff. But : old fashioned room and outdated bathroom, worn carpet, very poor soundproofing, window with abominable view of a blind wall with air conditioning unit, renovation work in progress

The Craigmonie Hotel is located in a residential neighborhood around 10-15 minutes away from the Inverness city center. Very elegant exterior, comfy room, friendly staff members, excellent buffet breakfast (oatmeal, scrambled eggs, beans, tomatoes, bread and croissants, cereal, juice, tea), and free parking on site.

The hotel was nice & clean if a little dated, easy to find just a few minutes off the A9 & equally just a few minutes to the city centre. The the staff were very good & the breakfast also was very good. Unfortunately the outside grounds of the hotel were very scruffy & unkempt, broken pots with dead flowers & weeds in but the thing I found as a non smoker offensive was a disgusting bucket by the door of the annexe we were in which was full of cigarette butts. I find it hard to believe that no one is tasked with a simple clean up, even once a week would be better than the total neglect that appears to be acceptable during our stay. The room we were in was large & clean with a comfy bed but was lacking both a fridge & a safe. It was a good stay but for the price we paid for 4 nights I felt was way over priced & that’s before we get onto the fact that the hotel charges you £6 a night to park your car in the car park, outrageous.

I was working at Raigmore hospital and after a 14hr day booked in for £200 for a single room….I paid that price for the convenience of the parking and onsite restaurant. On arrival I’m told I must now pay for parking at £6 a night even though I’m a guest and once checked in was told there was no food left for dinner…this was at 7:15pm! The room was tiny which I expected, carpets stained everywhere but worst, it was absolutely boiling with zero air flow…it was only 16degC outside as well. Barely slept. I’ve stayed a few times before but this is my last time. I should have just got a B&B and saved £100.
