"It is a new homestay with new facilities. The bathroom, bedding and room soundproofing are very satisfactory. The hygiene is also done more attentively. The transportation is convenient and you can take a taxi directly to the store entrance. The parking lot is less than 50m away. I originally planned to stay for one day, but I extended it for two more days.
On the first day, the aunt took me to pick tea, and finally let me take all the new tea away hahaha
I like the tea table on the first floor the most. I have to drink two cups every day when I go in and out. The aunt knows tea very well and bought a lot of tea I like before leaving.
Finally, the aunt sent me to the airport and ate a bowl of egg custard in the car haha.

There were many guests at the front desk when checking in, but the front desk staff were calm and could take care of every guest. They were waiting on the sofa next to them. Tea was prepared for all the guests. The front desk staff were also enthusiastic and smiling. They also introduced the surrounding attractions carefully. I was also given a very satisfactory room when I checked in. The facilities and equipment in the room were very complete. SSitao 1985I would love to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Old Town of Chama. It may be a little tricky to find at first, but just follow Google Maps and you’ll get there easily. From the main gate of the Old Town, it’s only about a 5-minute walk.
The hotel itself is quite new and very clean. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom facilities and appliances are all modern and high-quality. The soundproofing is excellent—although you might hear music and dancing outside, once inside the room it’s perfectly quiet. The location strikes a nice balance: slightly away from the hustle and bustle, yet just a few steps from plenty of food stalls and restaurants.
What really makes this place special is the owners. They are a warm, welcoming family with parents, an elder sister, and two younger brothers. They don’t speak English, but communication was never a problem—we used Google Translate to chat over cups of delicious tea. If you need anything, you can always ask them. They are very friendly and genuinely do their best to help.

GGuest UserThe location had great views over the valley, including the early morning sea of cloud. The property has a rooftop lookout that our group could get together to enjoy the view.
It helped that our taxi could drive through the narrow road of Mengben village and deposit us and our luggage on the doorstep of the homestay. This is unlike Wengji & Nuogang villages, where cars are not allowed to enter the village but deposit visitors at the village carpark.
The hospitality of the owner/hostess was remarkable.
She had a Pu'er tea table and made us endless cups of different tea all grown in her farm, explaining their differences and virtues. She did not charge us a cent for the whole experience. Neither did she try to hard sell the tea leaves although we did buy a small amount off her because we enjoyed the tea. She is a good cook and whipped up breakfast and lunch for us.

The beauty at the front desk provided good service. The room was clean and tidy. The floor attendants worked carefully and the room was kept spotless. The hotel waiters met I will take the initiative to say hello to you! The hotel has its own parking lot in the backyard, as well as an underground parking lot. I didn't go underground, so I parked on the ground every day when I came back. The breakfast room is large and bright. There are many kinds of meals, and they are different every day. It can be seen that they are thoughtful. I stayed in the hotel for two days and felt very good. It was a satisfactory stay. High praise! The fee includes three meals a day, you can swim, catch fish in the stream, watch the sunrise and sea of clouds, taste coffee and pick coffee beans. It is definitely a treasure manor. It was New Year's Eve, and we prepared a self-service stir-fry, which tasted good. The self-service beef hot pot was also great, with many varieties, delicious beef, and self-service drinks. VVeraForeign friends: don't stay here. The worst experience I've ever had trying to check in - and I've travelled to many remote places in Yunnan over the past six years.
Staff has no clue about rules and regulations, even though I showed them the most up to date rules for foreigners travelling in China.
They tried to stop me from leaving the hotel because they couldn't figure out how to check me in, even though I was very hungry and tired and wanted to eat and go to bed early.
They came to my room at 10pm but still couldn't figure out how to check me in.
And here is the worst: at 8am the manager opened the door of my room and walked in without knocking. There was no inside lock or chain. Luckily I wasn't in the shower.
Awful place that made me feel extremely unwelcome as a foreigner. They made me feel like a criminal because of their incompetence and stupid actions. Very different from most places where staff is helpful even if it's a bit more complicated.

GGaozhiwenAfter visiting the Jingmai Mountain Ancient Tea Forest all day, when I opened the door of Xiangong Family Courtyard Inn, I was directly poked at the heart of the Baqian. The window was opened by the cascading tea forest wrapped in a sea of clouds. In the evening, the glow overflowed across the roof, and even the air was soaked in the tea.
The ”Qiuqiu·Tea Garden Terrace View Twin Room” we booked was a complete surprise! The terrace is facing the tea mountain. I was woken up by birds in the morning. I sat on a wicker chair and made a cup of ancient tree tea. I watched the clouds and mist slowly over the tea field, and even the time slowed down. The room is designed with log wind + tea elements, the bedding is soft, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry and equipped with aromatherapy, and the details are all appropriate.
The boss is a local tea farmer. He sits in the yard at night and roasts tea. He listens to his story of ancient tea trees in Jingmai Mountain. He also filled us with a bag of new tea as a souvenir. Although the location of the homestay is in the village, the navigation is directly to the door. The boss waited for us at the intersection half an hour in advance, and the appearance of helping with the luggage was very kind.
The 24-hour front desk can help at any time, free parking, luggage storage and basic services are very thoughtful. Living here, you can not only immersive feeling the tranquility of the ancient tea forest, but also have the warm fireworks of the homestay~ Next time you come to Jingmai Mountain, this will definitely be my first choice!

EEnglish RoseStaying on a Pu’er plantation was an unforgettable experience! Our children loved camping in the caravans and (given that we normally live in Shanghai) we were delighted to see the stars twinkling in the night sky! Sunrise and sunset was also breathtaking. The whole site is very well maintained and we enjoyed walking on clearly defined paths in the tea plantation. Staff were polite and accommodating - and breakfast was one of the best and most beautifully presented that we have seen. We also enjoyed a delicious evening meal at the restaurant, which was very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!
