"I recently stayed at the incredibly popular Indison High-Altitude Resort Hotel in Chongqing, and I was absolutely blown away! The location is superb, right in the Jiefangbei business district. Raffles City is just downstairs, and the Yangtze River Cableway is a mere 5-minute walk away. The geographical location is simply unbeatable. The room features 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. You can lie in bed and witness the breathtaking confluence of the two rivers. The night view is even more spectacular – every casual photo looks like it's straight out of a magazine. I especially loved their infinity pool. Swimming on the 38th floor feels like you're floating in the clouds, and it's fantastic for photos. I recommend going at dusk to catch the sunset glow reflecting on the river, followed by the stunning night view – a double treat! 🌇"

"This is my first time leaving a negative review on Ctrip, and staying in this room was truly unlucky. There was a huge bug on the floor, but that wasn't the biggest issue. Right downstairs was a hot pot restaurant, and it was incredibly noisy. Last night, a group of people downstairs were drinking and playing finger-guessing games. We went to bed at 10:30 PM, even with our own earplugs in, but we were constantly woken up by the noise. Around 12 AM, my friend called the front desk to complain about the unbearable noise, but it didn't help. I held out until 12:30 AM and called the front desk again, telling them that if nothing was done, I would call the police. We finally managed to get some sleep after that group left around 12:40 AM. What's even more ridiculous is that there was a couple in the next room. Initially, they were also disturbed by the hot pot restaurant downstairs, just like us, and I assume they complained to the front desk as well. The soundproofing was absolutely terrible; we could hear constant sighing and coughing from their room. After the hot pot restaurant quieted down later in the night, the couple in the next room started making noise. But we were so exhausted that we eventually fell asleep. Since we went to bed so late, we could clearly hear them blow-drying their hair in the morning. As for breakfast, the steamed buns looked like they had been reheated multiple times, so I didn't dare eat them; they were all flaky. I only ate the noodles. In summary, the soundproofing is abysmal; you can hear every little thing happening next door. The hot pot restaurant downstairs was still noisy with drinking and finger-guessing games late into the night, and multiple complaints didn't make a difference. The village itself is quite nice, but the accommodation experience was terrible. The loft had a lot of dust, and I even saw a huge spider while showering but forgot to take a picture – truly a 'natural' environment, haha. The nearby hot spring only had three pools open, and the forest river view one I most wanted to visit seemed to be under maintenance. I really hope the hotel seriously works on improving the soundproofing; it's genuinely too loud. The hot pot restaurant downstairs should also be more considerate; they're not the only business around. The village is still very beautiful and great for photos."

"I chose the Intercity Hotel Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street for my trip to Chongqing, and I wholeheartedly recommend the entire stay experience! The location is absolutely superb, situated in the heart of Jiefangbei. It's just a few minutes' walk to Hongyadong and Shibati, and close to the subway, making sightseeing and dining incredibly convenient. The room hygiene was impeccable; every corner and the bathroom were spotless and odor-free, and the bedding was soft and tidy. The one-on-one butler service was attentive and thoughtful, responding promptly to any requests. They even provided thoughtful touches like complimentary late-night milk and assistance with luggage storage. The breakfast selection was rich, offering both Chinese and Western options. Chongqing noodles, tofu pudding, pastries, Western dishes, and drinks were all available, fresh and delicious to kickstart an energetic day. I especially want to highlight the 13th-floor high-altitude viewing spot. Watching the sunset in the evening, with Jiefangbei's neon lights and the city's lights spread out before you, creates an absolutely stunning night view!"

"Floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic 180° river views. The bedding features a five-star Sealy mattress, and the bathroom comes with a Dyson hairdryer and a scenic bathtub. The smart home system allows voice control for curtains and lights. The room directly overlooks the confluence of the Jialing and Yangtze rivers, providing the best vantage point to see Qianximen Bridge and Hongya Cave light up at dusk. There are also many highly-rated restaurants within walking distance, and its central location makes it convenient to get to all the attractions with ease. 👍🏻"

"I must give a good review. The receptionist, Ms. Chen, was very hospitable. When she saw that we had a child with us, she took the initiative to upgrade our room. We met her at breakfast, and she very warmly explained the origin of 618 Town to us and even led us on a tour of the 618 Town exhibition hall. In short, we felt very welcome and had a great experience!"

"The room was generally satisfactory. What deserves praise is that when I was getting the room card, I left a lady's bag in Da Ting. The bag contained more than 10,000 cash and some very important documents. It took me more than an hour to go to the guest room before I remembered that the bag was missing. Fortunately, the staff at the Da Ting front desk were very responsible and returned the money intact after checking with the ID card. Thank you!"

"This is a standalone building, set back from the busy main road, offering exceptional tranquility despite being in a bustling area. E'ling Park is just a ten-minute walk away, and Liziba light rail station is also nearby, making it super convenient to return and rest after exploring. The hotel is situated at a similar elevation to the 'One Tree' viewing platform on Nanshan. The rooftop infinity pool offers direct views of the entire Yuzhong riverfront. You can enjoy afternoon tea by the rooftop pool ☕️, and it's incredibly pleasant to relax by the pool, feel the breeze, and take photos in the afternoon or evening 🍸."

"Cleanliness: The room was spotless. Facilities: Fully equipped with everything you could need. Environment: Located within the ancient town, it's a quiet retreat amidst the bustling streets. Service: The staff offered proactive pick-up/drop-off services and provided excellent service. It's especially suitable for family trips; exploring the ancient town at night is a unique and delightful experience."

"This hotel is really comfortable; once I checked in, I didn't want to leave. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and I slept like a baby until I woke up naturally. The blackout curtains were amazing. They really paid attention to the details; everything I needed was in the room and easily accessible. Most importantly, it was incredibly quiet. Once the door was closed, it felt like the outside world was shut off, allowing me to truly relax and recharge."

"Environment and design: The design of the homestay is very strong, and there are many details worth savoring in the public area. I saw several paintings hanging. I heard that the boss painted them himself. I have to say that the things made by the artist are indeed artistic! Regarding the room: the style of the room I set is very special, Moroccan style, quite exotic, a person travels such a big room is enough, asked the housekeepers, their rooms are quite big, the largest is more than 100 flat. There is also a bubble pool in the room. It is recommended to put water in the bubble pool in advance. I put it for nearly two hours. They said that the largest bubble pool can put a few tons of water. Hahahahaha, next time you ask a few friends to experience it. Service and experience: The staff here are very enthusiastic. Contact us in advance to inform us of the route and weather. After arriving, we helped us with our luggage and sent welcome fruits and homemade special snacks. The aunt in the room passed by and we were all smiling and full of intimacy. In the evening, I also met a fellow from Fujian in the yard. It was so coincidental. I really didn't expect it. So I drank tea and chatted in the yard together. The atmosphere was particularly good. Overall feeling: The name ”yin and forget” is really good. You will read the comfort and beauty here, and forget the disturbances of the outside world. This is not only an accommodation, but also a precious physical and mental healing. Next time I come to this city, I will still think of it to let it go!"
