You could easily spend a whole day here without even stepping out. "Good location, services, very clean bed, great hospitality, the rooftop yields the best view for Shibati. Easy access to major tourist checkpoints. During my recent trip to Chongqing, I stayed at the Intercity Hotel near Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, and overall, my experience was very comfortable. The location is genuinely excellent, right by Jiefangbei, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Attractions like Shibati, Hongyadong, and the Yangtze River Cableway are all within walking distance, saving me the hassle of constantly taking taxis – a huge plus for tourists. There are also plenty of dining options nearby; you can easily find a good hotpot or Chongqing noodle place. The hotel lobby and rooms are decorated in a simple yet aesthetically pleasing style – not overly lavish but very comfortable. The room amenities are comprehensive, including toiletries, and the cleanliness is impeccable; the floors and bedding were spotless, which gave me peace of mind. The breakfast selection is quite diverse, offering both German-style bread and coffee, as well as local flavors like Chongqing noodles, catering to different tastes. The biggest bonus is the top floor, which features an infinity pool and an observation deck. The night view of Shibati from up there is particularly stunning, with layers of lights truly capturing the essence of a mountain city. There's also a small bar nearby, making it a pleasant spot to relax and enjoy the breeze. The staff were all very friendly and responsive to any issues, and housekeeping was prompt. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Chongqing."

"We came here to see the 816 Project, which is very close at 9 kilometers. The accommodation had an industrial style, was fully equipped, and clean. The breakfast was simple and delicious. It's also conveniently located 3 kilometers from the residential area. However, the building is said to be a converted old factory, so the exterior isn't very new, but it has a lot of historical charm. There are many glass walkways in the rest area and corridors, and even though I've never dared to walk on them before, it was quite a brave and fun experience! Our family had a good stay, and we would recommend it to friends next time they visit."

"This hotel is really comfortable; once I checked in, I didn't want to leave. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and I slept like a baby until I woke up naturally. The blackout curtains were amazing. They really paid attention to the details; everything I needed was in the room and easily accessible. Most importantly, it was incredibly quiet. Once the door was closed, it felt like the outside world was shut off, allowing me to truly relax and recharge."

"From the very 1st interaction with the front desk at check-in, Ms Pim Pim and Ms.Zhen were truly magnificent! Spoke little English but with translating app they really helped us for smooth check-in. All the staff are really friendly and will accommodate foreigners very well. The hotel is attached to hot springs thus the location is best to relax and enjoy the 40++ various hot pools after hectic Chongqing tours. We highly recommend to atleast stay minimum 2 nights. Travellers from Netherlands😊"

"I must give this a proper review. The family suite is on the 55th floor, offering unobstructed river views. The apartment is very spacious, with two bedrooms, one of which has its own bathroom, and a walk-in closet. The kitchen is fully equipped with a range hood, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and washer-dryer combo. There are also various dishes and utensils in the cabinets. For me, having a washer-dryer combo was incredibly convenient when traveling with children. I was traveling with two children and an elderly person, and unfortunately, the elderly person wasn't feeling well during the last few days of our trip. Our high-speed train was at 5 PM on the last day, but after explaining the situation to the front desk, they readily extended our check-out time by two hours. The only downsides were that the swimming pool was closed for maintenance during our stay and the elevator buttons were a bit complicated, but these minor flaws don't detract from the overall experience."
