Albion Hotel

Hotel close to all amenities.Everything from time of arrival to our departure was excellent. Staff were excellent and most helpful . Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was very enjoyable with a good choice for all and plentiful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Love this hotel, warm friendly staff, nice breakfast, warm rooms and parking is safe and perfect. Close to the square and Good value.

An amazing hotel in easy walking distance to everything Ypres has to offer. The relaxed atmosphere and decoration made you immediately start to relax. The room although not huge was spotlessly clean and benefited from from a comfoy bed, hair dryer, mini fridge, soap, shoe shine kit and shower gel. There was something for every taste served at the continental buffet breakfast. Great value for money and made extra special by been able to use the carpark behind the hotel. We shall definitely be back

This was our second visit. Easy to find, 5 minute walk to the Menin Gate, 2 minutes to the centre. Secure parking, garage for motorcycles, no gravel, slopes or tight turns. Hotel very clean and spacious with a bar. Has lift to rooms. Our room had a shower, and there was a shower stall if needed. Kettle with tea and coffee supplies in room, always good to have for when you get back to your room. Breakfast was served in the very large and bright breakfast room. Everything is thought of as when the sun started to dazzle, the lovely breakfast lady spotted this straight away and lowered a large electric blind. There was a very large selection: cereals, pastries, cold meats and cheese, fruit, yoghurt, and a hot plate with scrambled egg and bacon. Coffee was from a machine with as many refills as required. You could even have breakfast on the terrace if you wished. All the staff we met were very friendly and welcoming, offering local information and answering any questions. Overall, we really couldn’t fault this lovely hotel and hope to return one day. Excellent value for money, especially considering where it is located. Thank you all for helping to make our visit to Ypres so memorable.

My 4th visit to the Albion and with Ypres being one of my favourite cities on the planet, the Albion is my favourite hotel. It is family owned and operated, with an extraordinary degree of customer care in ensuring a comfortable stay. As is typical in Ypres, there would be little purpose in having a full blown restaurant at The Albion, when the town (particularly the main square, so close to the hotel) has an abundance of superb restaurants, covering a vast range of cuisine. Prices at The Albion are moderate and exceptional value.

Fantastic hotel with a good atmosphere, the rooms were plenty big enough with ample tea making facilities , the breakfast had plenty of choice. The private parking for the bikes was exceptional.
