"These brand-new rooms are located on Boterstraat, a stone's throw from the Grote Markt. The Menin Gate is just over five minutes away, and you can park for free at Minneplein, which is a 450-meter walk away. We had the 'Family Father' room, which means you have to climb three steep flights of stairs and another flight of stairs to the upstairs bedroom. The rooms were clean and modern with coffee facilities. Power outlets are available next to the beds. The beds were comfortable, though the pillows were a bit on the thick side. And the space around the bed was a bit cramped. The friendly host sent a WhatsApp message on the day of arrival with the codes to get in, which worked perfectly. From the balcony, you have a view of the Cloth Hall and the cathedral. Unfortunately, breakfast is not available there, but there are plenty of options nearby. There was one hook in the bathroom; otherwise, there was nothing to put your clothes or belongings on."

"Perfect location. Parking was free right next to the hotel (otherwise €2 per day). Family room with an adjoining separate bedroom for the children. Free crib, which initially had a blanket instead of a mattress, but that was adjusted after we pointed it out due to safety concerns for sleeping. We found breakfast too pricey and opted to eat outside the hotel. A very pleasant stay!"

"Stayed in family room. Has view over square. Fantastic location. Room is sound proof. Has tea coffee in room. Lovely bathroom. Comfy bed. Air condition. Very good fried breakfast and continental too. Parked in Albion hotel overnight although can park side streets through day and square on a night i wanted safety so Albion best and close."

"Very nice B&B, right in the centre of Ypres but still quiet. Large pleasant room and breakfast was excellent. Mrs Jo, the hostess, was lovely; chatty, friendly and very helpful especially with arranging safe storage for my bike. She made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed our stay"

"The food was very tasty and good value, only downside was when we visited the restaurant wasnt open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for evening meals. Breakfast is fantastic though, a very varied choice and you can eat as much as you like. Rooms are lovely with very comfortable beds, the rooms are serviced every day."
