Newly renovated, very close to the main camp. Remember to bring food when you go for a self-drive the next day. The two kids were hungry for a whole day.

We visited as part of a tour with Cuckoo Safaris. Having never been to Zimbabwe, or Africa at all, we didn't know what to expect. On arriving at Hwange Safari Lodge we were blown away by how luxurious and well done the place was. Everything from the lobby to the rooms was spotless, and all of the staff were brilliant. Albertina and her male colleague (sorry we forget your name!) were very welcoming on the front desk, Sentitano the waiter was extremely friendly and courteous, Simba's drinks were delicious, Lafue was really welcoming, and Blessing was one of the best guides we had throughout the whole trip across Zimbabwe and Botswana. The pool area was lovely and an amazing place to watch all the elephants and impala.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Adjacent to Hwange National Park and with no fences game animals are often seen just outside the boma safe area. The weather and sunsets were fantastic.

The rooms have a view of the waterhole so you will see various wildlife coming to drink from there. Its quite peaceful and their game drive was a 10/10 for us.
