Hwange Safari Lodge ★★★
"This was the best experience we have ever had at an accommodation. We stayed for two nights as part of a three week tour and Hwange Lodge was by far the best of our nine lodges. Our room was wonderful, the grounds were clean and expansive, the meals were fantastic, the safari vehicles and guides were excellent and the bonus viewing of the waterhole was outstanding. This was all made better by the most friendly and amazing lodge staff that we have ever encountered. We even did massages which were very enjoyable. I wish we could have spent longer here, it was one of the highlights of my life."
N1 Hotel & Campsite Victoria Falls ★★
"We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The location is excellent! You can walk to Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side and then to the border with Zambia in about 15 minutes. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. You can also walk to a large supermarket in about 15 minutes. The room is small but quite cozy and clean, with mosquito nets on the windows. They allowed us to check in quickly so we could go see the waterfall right away."
Victoria Falls Rainbow Hotel ★★★
"Hotel was clean and offered free shuttle to Victoria Falls."
Elephant Hills Resort ★★★★
"The environment is first-class."
Shearwater's Explorers Village ★★★
"This was the start point for my tour - and it couldnt be a better location. Lots to see and do at the hotel - and its safe to walk around too. The restaurant is excellent, and the staff are of course - very helpful."
Victoria Falls Safari Lodge ★★★★
"A very nice hotel with an outstanding view looking over a watering hole. Rooms were fine. Pretty clean and a regular hotel room. Bar and restaurant were great, especially the breakfast. Only complaint is that for international visitors it was not great value as very expensive for what we got. Try and find a deal as still worth staying here."
Insika Lodge ★★★★
The Little Outlook ★★★
"The hotel is in a good location with convenient transportation. The environment is very good and clean. The staff is warm and friendly. The breakfast is good👍Recommended, and the dinner made by the chef is also very good👍"
Azambezi River Lodge ★★★★
"Overall, the lodge has a beautiful setting, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. However, the dinner buffet was disappointing because the food was not replenished, leaving guests with very limited options. With better buffet management, the experience would have been better."

The Victoria Falls Hotel
"The Victoria Falls Hotel was everything we had expected. Beautiful grounds. Friendly staff and wonderful service. It is a must stay experience."
Anantara Stanley & Livingstone Victoria Falls Hotel
"The place is quite a gem outside of Victoria Falls and fairly close to the airport or the falls themselves. I'll start with a few negatives...The road to get there is a bit sketchy, WIFI was spotty by pool area (great in room), no workout facilities (and with quality food and drinks by staff we could have used it lol), and activity planning outside of Anantara grounds could have been slightly more proactive (although very helpful with our suggestions and rides), Admittedly, those are nit-picking and about the ONLY even slight negatives about the place. The staff is fabulous...very nice and attentive! The grounds are fantastic even having a short 1/4 mi walking path with flowering bushes w vibrant colors. Rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful with 5-star service. Food and drinks are great with separate bar and dining areas with both indoor and outdoor seating (overlooking the reserve usually w animals present). Anantara feels remote and isolated as well as very safe. Their on-site activities are great whether it be wine pairing, gin tasting, outdoor dining within the reserve, or the various game drives in am or pm which are a certain highlight and feel very non-touristy due to private reserve and more personalized attention from the guide and scouts. We would have loved the reserve area even if there were no animals (And there are MANY) as it is hilly w some beatiful vistas, mostly varying tree areas w small clearings and with many varying small 4-wheel drive dirt paths giving a true old-time game drive feel. I almost forgot to mention our stay included an optional (I'd highly recommend) visit to a nearby local village. Certainly, one of the highlights of the trip and the visit was very ad-hoc feeling and even our driver did not know who we would meet with. Highly enlightening on many fronts! We would certainly stay there again if in the area and also would recommend highly to any friends or family who were coming to the Victoria Falls area. It is a 5-star experience."
Nkosi Guest Lodge
"We stayed at the Nkosi for 3 nights and we would recommend this hotel. The staff were amazing, friendly and were always helpful with our excursions and booking taxis and advice. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu and service was exceptional. We also had two evening meals which were very good too. We cannot thank all the staff enough for making our stay in Victoria Falls a memorable one."
Palm River Hotel
"Kuda was our waiter and was terrific. He went over and beyond our every request. The food was great and an elephant entertained !"
Lokuthula Lodge
"We travelled to the Victoria Falls on a escorted tour with Newmarket Holidays , there was 14 in our group that was just right and we never felt rushed, We stayed in a 3 bedroom lodge which was very spacious with 2 bathrooms ,The beds was comfortable and made up every day , bottles of water was also placed in the fridge which was handy, WI-FI was there but sometimes the signal would go low but there was a strong signal at the Boma and Buffalo bar not far away ,to see so much Wildlife outside our lodge was just Amazing , We found all the staff there was Friendly and polite , we went to the Boma one night for a buffet meal and drum show which was a great night ! the food at the Buffalo bar was good with lovely views over the water hole watching the Wildlife going there for a drink with nice Sunsets too, 2nd day of our holiday we was taken a short drive to the spectacular Victoria Falls , other days of the holiday on Safaris, The falls was at full flow from previous months of rains ,to see the falls like that was breath-taking ! A few tips here , when you visit the falls May to June you will get wet from the spray ! So protect your cameras and valuables such as money and phones etc. for small items we used zip type food bags to help keeping things dry , Take a torch with you as the grounds surrounding the lodges are fairly dark at night , depending on when you go it can get hot during the day but chilly at night and 1st thing in the morning so take appropriate clothing with you , If you cross the over the boarder into neighbouring countries such as Botswana and return to Zimbabwe you will need to obtain a KASA UNIVISA which is easy to buy at the immigrations desk when you arrive at Victoria falls airport ,At the time of writing they was 50 USD each ."
Ilala Lodge Hotel
"We had a great size room with a king size bed, very clean. Our balcony was on the 1st floor. We had warthogs and impalas outside our room. Apparently elephants have been known to show up as well. We were approx 10 min drive from Victoria Falls. You can see/feel this mist at times. You do hear helicopters all day long as you are so close. The food was great. We were they early March and there was always space at the pool to get a lounger. We were walking distance to a few restaurants. There is a regular vendor market and lots of local vendors located just behind the hotel. (The local vendors are a little persistent about coming into their shops) The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from Zimbezi National Park. We felt totally safe during our whole visit while in Victoria Falls"
Livingstone Lodge
"A nice, quiet hotel with a la carte breakfast. You choose one of the options, for example, an English breakfast."
Peniel Retreat Centre
"Beautiful property! So quiet and peaceful. Exactly what you want for a relaxing vacation. The staff were extremely helpful and went the extra mile to make arrangements in Victoria Falls for us. Every meal we had was delicious!"

Pioneers
"What a fantastic find ! 3 nights here - from Reception to Domestic Staff, All very friendly, attentive and efficient! Restaurant has a great vibe - and excellent food. Room spotlessly clean and even a “turndown” service. Gardens lush and relaxing with 2 pools to cool off in."
Waterfalls Lodge
"Beautiful lodge with lovely gardens and 2 pools. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Shuttle bus to run you around. Rooms have large bathrooms. Very comfortable beds. No faults from me."
Ursula's Homestead
"Located on the edge of the Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve and near the more luxurious Stanley & Livingstone Hotel, of which it belongs, Ursula's Homestead is a cosy and pretty resort of only 4 bungalows facing a waterhole, offering the chance of spotting various animals coming and drinking just in front of the property, which also includes a small pool, where the water could be however kept cleaner, and a common area where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. The bungalows are simple but spacious and have a nice, captivating character, particularly the one with a thatched roof, while the appearance of other three, which have a corrugated roof, are somehow less attractive even though the interior is the same. The common area is as well full of character and the food choices are excellent for breakfast and acceptable for lunch/dinner, when the choice of dishes is limited but they are generally well cooked. Service is kind and warm although not always entirely efficient. The best quality of the resort is its quietness and cosiness, which makes it the perfect choice for those searching for a direct contact with the animals in a more intimate environment."
Ivory Lodge
"We had an absolutely amazing stay at Ivory Lodge Safari! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Raphael – and even more memorably, by a herd of elephants right at the lodge! The accommodation was beautiful, blending comfort and nature perfectly. We were so well looked after – with six eating opportunities a day, we were never hungry! Every meal was delicious, and the drink selection was excellent, with something for every taste. A special mention must go to our safari guide, Patrick – he was everything you could hope for in a guide: knowledgeable, patient, passionate, and truly made each game drive unforgettable. We left with incredible memories and a deep appreciation for Hwange. Highly recommend!"
