I had to be in Old Hunstanton for the night, so booked a small room at the Le Strange... and had a lovely time. Despite it being just me, the room was large, with the most amazing views over the grassland to the sea - truly spectacular! The room was modern and all I needed. I also ate on the terrace in the evening (a lovely fish & chips)... and had breakfast in the morning - waitress service and lovely. All the staff were great. Has a large car park for residents, just above the beach. Highly recommended

Perfectly awful, on arrival we were informed that restaurant was not open and we would have to eat at adjoining pub, The Mariners. Had drinks on terrace during afternoon. Although nicely located the tables were dirty, although glasses were collected no cleaning of tables at all. Dinner was so bad, went away hungry. The staff were rude and miserable, absolutely no idea how to treat guests. The rooms along various corridors with stairs at every turn it was surprising if any one finds their way. No fridge in room with a pathetic selection of awful coffee bags and tiny bottle of long life milk. Revolting!! Left at 8.30 am, couldn’t wait to get out of place. They have some serious work to do if they want to encourage return guests. The Premier Inn is far superior to this dreadful hotel.

Lovely hotel ,ideally placed within walking distance to stunning beach.. luxurious rooms , nice size bathroom..strange arrangement with pub next door supplying food/dinner..typical pub fare and a little pricey..long walk into Hunstanton town but not worth the walk unless you want seafront fish n chips..town struggling lots of businesses shut down and no signs of revamp..shame

I'm afraid this was our first & will be our last visit - we will not be returning for the following reasons ... On entering the breakfast room we were unpleasantly greeted by a very serious elderly waitress that barked 'what is your room number?' When I asked if we could sit on the porch area she unpleasantly replied 'there's no space, oh wait a minute, there might be. Go sit in the lounge & I'll call you' - after 10min we were called to be seated. Although there was still 40mins left of breakfast serving there was no bread or pasties left - had to ask the one of the two elderly staff 'if we could please have some bread sir' (lol) the second very serious & also very miserable waitress didn't reply, just walked off & returned 5mins later with a few rounds of bread & 5 minutes after that with ONE croissant Finally our hot and very uninspiring breakfast arrived - bacon quite inediblle (cardboard would have been easier to eat) and missing food items. No one asked us if we were happy with our food - the waitress came over to pick up our half eaten plates without a murmur to ask how it was. When I told her there was missing food she simply said you should of asked (although it wasn't that simple as there was no waitress around at the time) Checking out of the hotel we were actually greeted with a smiling receptionist - I couldn't stop myself from commenting to her that she was the first smiling face I had seen. She replied oh sorry about that was everything else ok. My reply was, no not really. The reception just smiled & said nothing more. A great shame, the staff & service let the building down.

A good hotel, value for money. Clean and tidy room, friendly staff. Great location. The chalets look great. Really close to a fabulous beach. Food at the attached pub was good, service adequate but could be a bit quicker at the bar. A really good spot for a family. Safe and child friendly.

Visited here for a pitstop coffee during a walk. Would have appreciated a warmer welcome and friendlier service from the lady serving. Nice position to view the sea although fence panel at eyeline height!

We got married here on 31st July and all I can say is that it was fantastic from start to finish. Tanya, the wedding planner was amazing and organised the staff and venue perfectly. Tanya and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The food was amazing and staff catered for guests needs. Guests commented that the 3 course wedding breakfast was the best they'd ever had! The location of the hotel is spectacular and cannot be beaten, we spend a lot of time here because of this and it really made our wedding magical. Thank you so much to Tanya and the team at Le Strange Arms. Can't wait to visit again soon! Sarah & Nathan

Old fashioned but in a great way, comfy beds, nice sea view room, good staff and fantastic setting, will 100% visit again.

We stayed for a three night weekend over the summer solstice. Our well-appointed, spacious holiday lodge was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of nice fluffy towels. Electric fans were in each bedroom. The kitchen had a good range of modern appliances, including an upmarket capsule coffee maker. A useful addition would be some kitchen scissors. There were five of us, and this lodge sleeps eight. The fridge was very small for potentially eight guests. There is an enclosed garden area complete with outside furniture that has great sea views.
