The food in this restaurant is quite bad among the many Hoshino hotels I stayed in…very ordinary and the ingredients are not high-end. The hotel should be sold for the scenery during the red leaf season. However, there are too many choices of beautiful maple leaf hotels in Japan. Overall, the service of this hotel is quite good. However, I would not recommend friends to come to this hotel. It is too ordinary and the price-performance ratio is relatively low.

Location and hospitality from the staff are the stand outs for this hotel. 5 min walk from Tobu-Nikko station and just opposite JR Nikko station. Lots of dining options around so not to worry but the nearest convenience store is actually not that near. For my stay, it came with free breakfast every day though I only had it for one day because I wanted to try out other breakfast/ coffee places in Nikko. There’s onsen in the hotel, both indoor and outdoor so this is also a plus point. However, the hotel itself is a bit tired and desperately needs a renovation.

The location is quite remote, and it takes an hour and a half from Tobu Nikko. The key is that there are few shuttle buses. The hotel environment is good, the public areas have been renovated and are very new, the rooms are a little old, but the area is large. You can only choose two times for dinner: 6 o'clock or 6:30. You can only choose two times for breakfast, 7:30 or 8 o'clock. If the time doesn't match, you can only give up. I booked a one-night, two-meal package, and left Nikko at 3 o'clock in order to catch up with the morning dinner. And the dinner was not very delicious. So it is not recommended to choose a package with dinner.

A premium hotel & hotspring in kinugagawa onsen,this hotel also is famous all over japan, because of superb hotspring creation made by a big rock,very new & romantic interior design especially in the lobby,w/ an luxurios chandelier,the outside view is amazing,the famous fureai bridge in kinugawa & river is in the front ,very nice autumn view outside,the room is big,but don't have a telephone & dresser,the food is superb but if you want to drink alcohol,you need to reserve from the front desk during check-in.Intagramable view inside & outside,but don't go here by walking with baggage because of the high stairs in fureai bridge,there's a shuttle bus but you need to pay 300yen.Overall,you can feel the scenic views even you don't go outside,Thanks always Trip.com for very nice booking,more power & God bless always

The bus stop is at the intersection, and it is a 6-minute walk uphill from the hotel. The semi-open-air bath in the room is just a bathtub. There is no hot spring, but you can take a bath or soak your feet. However, because it is directly facing the woods, you need to prevent mosquitoes and fallen leaves, but you didn't see any large animals. Every day, the waiter will put the yukata, toiletries, coffee and tea bags, etc. in the entrance. You need to put the items you want to change and the garbage in the entrance for them to take away. They will not enter the room. The food is fresh, but the set meal is not too big, and it may not be enough for men.

The hotel room is a standard Japanese hot spring hotel, but the room is indeed very old. Those who like new hotels should be careful, because I personally like the atmosphere of old Japanese hotels. Everything else is good.
The breakfast and dinner are especially good. There is seafood Dongfan for breakfast, and I ate a lot. The open-air hot spring is also great, and I soaked once in the morning and once in the evening.

I came to Nikko for a holiday before Christmas and chose this hotel. The room is large and clean, the environment is quiet and beautiful, the price is quite affordable, and the cost performance is very high. The hotel service is very good and the staff is very considerate.

A special person checked in. From the moment he parked at the hotel entrance, some waiters helped him to get to the room. Upon entering the hotel, guests will be invited to sit in the side hall and bring hot tea and cookies, very considerate.
Japanese hotels do n’t have to worry about hygiene, they wo n’t disappoint guests.
The best thing about the hotel is dining, whether it is breakfast or dinner, it is very rich. Breakfast is available in Japanese and Western style. Dinner is a fixed menu. There are about ten degrees. The dishes for two nights will not be the same.
The recommended order includes dinner, especially for friends who have fun around. When we went, it was about 6 o'clock in the evening, and the shops and restaurants were closed, leaving only a small supermarket. There is no 24-hour convenience store near the hotel, so be careful.

LLiangshaofengIt is about 5 minutes drive from Kinugawa JR Station. It is suitable for self-driving travel. Guests have hot spring discounts. Each room only needs 450 yen. The hot spring environment is good. The Japanese-style room has a good view and the decoration is relatively new. ロロI went with my husband and we loved the pool outside, with a great view, warm water. The pool inside is also great , with umbrella decorations but we prefered the ouside pool.
The dinner was great with a wide variety of foods, it slso includes one hour of free alcohol drink.
The futons were very good and our room had an exceptional view. The breakfast was also very good. I would like to stay more than one night to enjoy the inside pool. We want to return again.

KK Hoffman (Canada)Great location, just across from the Nikko Tobu Station. However, need to hire more people to maintain the hotel. There is no receptionist for checkins between 3-10. Found cobwebs by the sinks and even on the partitions between the lower and upper bed. There is black mold in the bathroom and water pools at the bottom of the shower unit. With 2 shower rooms built for 24 guests, there is really only one shower room for 24 guests because one of the shower rooms cannot be used as you can not close the door to lock it! Wifi is not reliable.

RRandom随机Wow! This place was fantastic! The staff are all courteous and professional. The hotel rooms are really clean, and the atmosphere is so relaxing and tranquil. I really enjoyed the nature vibes, and the river view by the window is perfect! The sound of the water flow and birds chirping made it to be a great night's sleep. The morning scenery is even better. I have no complaints. It was a great place to stop and rest and admire your surroundings. Take advantage of the swimming pool and the hot springs. (FYI: No tattoos allowed in case you have any, so you won't be alarmed when you see the sign.) Otherwise, everything was great about my stay! ☺️
