Nikko Hotels with Bars

During the recent three-day autumn foliage season, rooms in Nikko were extremely difficult to book, especially balcony rooms with views of Nantaiyama and Chuzenji Lake. This time, I checked in at noon and requested an upgrade to a lake view room, and luckily, one became available on the 5th floor, the top floor. The balcony of the room offered a breathtaking lake view! Although the price was high, it was truly amazing! Environment: Prime location near Chuzenji Lake, with its own dedicated station. The pier, lakeside, and Kegon Falls are all within walking distance. Service: Top-notch. From check-in to introductions, turndown service, and breakfast the next day, the staff were impeccably at home! They now offer twice-daily shuttle service from Nikko Station. Truly fantastic! Facilities: Complete with all amenities, including a private onsen (hot spring), and state-of-the-art bathing and skincare facilities. Cleanliness: Spotless, and the public areas are impeccably beautiful. Staying here is like living inside an oil painting, except for the price. But this is just one example! The purpose of making money is to achieve Ritz-Carlton freedom.

We had a really relaxing stay at FUFU Nikko. The room was beautiful, quiet, and very comfortable, especially the private onsen. The staff were polite and attentive, and the atmosphere felt peaceful and luxurious without being too formal. Dinner and breakfast were both well presented and enjoyable. The reason I’m giving 4–5 stars instead of a perfect score is that a few small details didn’t fully match the high expectations for the price, but overall the experience was still wonderful. A great place to slow down and enjoy Nikko.

I was very impressed with my stay at Hotel Kinugawa Onsen 💙. The buffet spread for both breakfast and dinner was incredibly extensive, offering a huge variety of Japanese and other dishes. I was completely satisfied and felt it was excellent value for money. The onsen was also fantastic, very clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a truly relaxing soak. The hotel's surroundings were peaceful and immersed in nature, making it perfect for unwinding, recharging, and simply enjoying some leisurely time. If I have the chance, I would definitely love to stay here again 😊.

really amazing service especially the onsen the adult food. rooms are a little outdated. It did catch us off guard as it was about 1000 USD for two nights for the 3 kids and their meals were like pasta and fries. I am not sure we would have spend this money staying with kids. Better suited for adults or if money really isn't an issue spending already so much at the hotel.

Although the location is a little off, the overall environment is still very good. The Kinu River flows outside the window, and the view is very good. We were greeted by a Nepalese employee who introduced the hotel to us in English, including dining locations and hot spring bathing times. While we were eating, they also introduced the ingredients to us and chatted with us for a while. The service was very good. There are shuttle buses available to Kinugawa Onsen Station and Kinugawa Park Station. The next day, since my friend and I were the only ones on the bus, we asked if it was convenient to take us to the Kinu River Bridge. The driver was very nice and took us directly to the bridge entrance, saving us the embarrassment of dragging our suitcases along the way!

This is a popular all-inclusive resort! We stayed on a Saturday, but the various play areas and pool facilities were spacious and relaxed, so it didn't feel crowded at all. The dining area was in one place, so there was a problem with the flow of food, so we had to wait in line, but we arrived a little early so we managed. The hot springs were also very nice. We liked the hotel very much. It surely needs renovation in some areas, but you forget about this, because the hotel service is very good. The staff is very helful and welcoming, many free amenities are provided: yukata clothes for kids for all ages, socks for geta shoes, face sheet masks for ladies. Futons are very cosy, kaiseki dinner was worth it, but if your kids do not like Japanese style food, you need to think of it beforehand. Onsen area is very nice. It has pool also. I would recommend to stay in this hotel and enjoy Japanese experience.

Everything was great! We lived here for three days in April 2024. The hosts are very friendly and attentive.
