orangeologyperfect place if you want a no frill traditional japanese ryokan. IYKYK. the only drag is that it's two short train stops from the busy destination Shuzenji, however local trains runs like til almost midnight. well-kept (but old) squeaky clean facilities + excellent okamisan. breakfast for additional like 5 dollars was top to the price. again, if you are looking for a modern boutique place, seek elsewhere. if you appreciate the japanese ryokan minshuku culture (which is disapperaring), this is the place. worth visit, worth money although unbelievably cheap. the town itself (Ohito) has some hidden gems like small restaurants and snacks (japanese bar). will visit again, if i ever come back to Izu.

CHENTAIThe best thing about Japanese hotels is the authenticity of the information of the house. I hope that the businessmen in the motherland will learn, which will give people a very real good feeling. The room in this hotel is written as a mountain view room. Once in the room, the window is really open town and field, and the mountains in the distance are stacked and beautiful. The layout of the room is exquisite and beautiful, and the surrounding scenery is very harmonious. The waiters are older but radiant grandfathers and grandmothers. They are very meticulous and careful to introduce us to various precautions. They made an appointment at night for a private hot spring. On the second morning, they prepared a delicate breakfast. It rained outside when they left. The grandpa of the hotel drove us to the subway station. The overall feeling was comfortable and relaxed, which was also the impression left by the entire Izu Peninsula.

Xiaoxuwan100,000 positive reviews, highly recommended!
The service is very good, one of the best among the 30+ Japanese hot spring hotels I have stayed in. It is very rare to still have older female generals to explain various things despite the current labor shortage~
Picture 1-2 shows the room (309) we stayed in. It was clean and well-decorated;
Picture 3-4 shows the large bathhouse and free private bath. When traveling in Japan during the off-season, there are very few guests staying and almost all of them are exclusive;
Figure 5 is a separate room for dining, which ensures privacy and does not require time-consuming cleaning and tidying up in the room;
Picture 6 is the welcome sign outside the hotel gate. It is very big...
Picture 7 shows the breakfast on the second day, and the dinner is more sumptuous;
Figure 8 is the landscape of the hot spring street.

The hotel's meals are very bad. The dinner is served together. The tempura is cold and soft. It is super unpalatable. There is no fish for dinner.
Breakfast is not good, the meal is less, and some pregnant women are not suitable for eating.
I communicated with the restaurant staff that the pregnant women who were traveling with me could not eat hot spring eggs. I wanted to change them to scrambled eggs. I was rejected by the young female staff of the restaurant. I felt very uncomfortable.
The hotel has been renovated and the facilities are good. A male employee was very helpful when checking in. We communicated that we are non-Japanese and will not make a tatami bed and help make a bed.
It is a hotel with facilities but the meals are really bad

I was traveling alone and arrived at the hotel late. Despite the hour, the staff kindly prepared dinner for me. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. It is situated adjacent to an old mining pit and features two open-air hot springs, both of which are exceptionally clean and inviting. The hotel offers a traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner, with all dishes being remarkably fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a secluded getaway to enjoy hot springs and relaxation.

Quite a distance from the nearest train station but the hotel provides a drop-off. Service-minded staff but limited breakfast hours.

Recently, there were many buffet meals, but I was able to eat slowly at the restaurant divided into rooms, without checking that there is a transfer bus at the station ๏ฝ 40 minutes walk slowly and walk to the hotel I thought it was a little more in the mountains, but it was a hotel near the river, and there is a hot spring that is also a hot spring in the back of the first floor, and there are two sources, both of which are warm. The hot water was hot and it was the best to enter alternately.

JUNA great hotel, very humane. Because the flight was delayed until the hotel was eleven oโclock in the evening, fortunately, the hotel was notified by Ctrip to reserve the room. I didnโt expect the hotel to send someone to stay behind and order food for our three hungry Chinese. Dinner, very touched, thank you
