Guest UserI booked the Dome Room for two nights. As many online reviews mentioned, it was indeed very clean. The bedding was high-quality pure cotton, spotless white, making for a very reassuring sleep. Oh! Besides the room's air conditioning (heating and cooling), they also provided electric blankets on the beds – what a thoughtful owner!
The room came with an induction cooker, microwave, and refrigerator. The owner also thoughtfully provided dishes, pots, cutlery, tea bags, and milk, making it perfect for those who want to prepare simple meals.
Each room has free, unlimited Wi-Fi! We parked our car right outside the room, which made it very convenient to grab things.
The bathroom had both a shower and a spa tub, and they provided hand soap, shampoo/body wash, aromatic scents for the spa, and a hairdryer.
As for the service, both the owner and his wife were incredibly warm and attentive! Any issues we had were resolved immediately; their speed was impressive!
At just over 400 RMB per night booked through Ctrip, it was truly excellent value for money, far better than those run-down, outdated star-rated hotels! The half-star deduction is for the slightly weak water pressure in the shower, but after returning from the hot springs, a quick rinse is all you need, so it didn't bother us much.
Next time we come for the hot springs, we will definitely choose to stay here again.

This guesthouse was incredibly cozy. The lady who checked us in was super nice, and most importantly, the soundproofing was excellent — it was completely quiet at night, so I slept really well. Out of all the places we stayed on both the North and South Islands during our trip, this was definitely the most comfortable night's sleep we had.

XiedashuaigeneHere's what I loved about this place:
1. **Immersive Farm Experience:** From the moment we checked in, we were given food to feed the alpacas. Stepping out of our room, we were greeted by a large lawn where four gentle alpacas and a little lamb roamed leisurely. Our kids spent the entire afternoon feeding the animals – it was incredibly therapeutic! Waking up, we could open the window and watch alpacas grazing. In the evening, sitting on the patio as the sunset painted the grass was an absolutely unique and magical atmosphere.
2. **Private Cabins with All the Comforts:** All units are standalone cabins, each with its own private entrance and yard. There's a dedicated free parking spot right at the door, making luggage handling and parking super convenient. The rooms were spotless and brand new, equipped with AC, heating, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a smart TV. Each unit also boasts a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, and utensils you could need, so buying groceries and cooking your own meals is a breeze. Perfect for both short and long stays. The bedding was soft, and the double-glazed windows provided excellent sound insulation – at night, all we heard were birds and the wind, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful sleep.
3. **Kid-Friendly & Stress-Free for Parents:** The property features a huge outdoor play area with a trampoline, swings, and a sandpit slide, allowing kids to burn off energy while parents can relax on the patio. The host is Chinese, so communication in Mandarin was seamless. They were incredibly helpful with small things like needing a travel adapter or extra daily essentials, paying attention to every detail.
4. **Perfect Location: Secluded Yet Convenient:** Just a 6-minute drive from the city center, it's quiet and peaceful without the city noise. Yet, it's incredibly close to all the main attractions: Skyline Gondola, Te Puia Māori Village, ZORB, and Agrodome Farm are all within a 1-3 minute drive. No need to rush in the mornings to get to your activities, perfectly balancing tranquility with travel convenience.

Guest UserWe stayed there in mid-May. Very clean accommodation. Comfortable beds too. One reverse cycle air-con upstairs in the lounge/kitchen area. Rooms were provided with a portable column heater each. There was a towel heater in the bathroom located downstairs but it was inadequate to warm the bathroom. When one of the column heater stopped working, it was replaced immediately. We were happy with the accommodation. The only negatives were lack of mirrors and hooks (to hang wet towels) in the bedrooms but these were minor issues. Will stay again.

The so-called breakfast was too poor. It only consisted of two slices of bread, two cans of yogurt, a 200ml box of milk, and a few jams. They were placed in the room on the day of check-in. The key is that the yogurt and milk were not placed in the refrigerator. The so-called motel hot springs are just two tiled pools from the 1970s in China.

Guest UserWe had a great two-day stay at Urban Lounge. The service was excellent, and Prazad at the reception was awesome—very accommodating, friendly, and welcoming, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
We used the shared bathroom, and while it was generally fine, it could have been cleaned more frequently. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Urban Lounge to others.

Better than expected overall. There was a noticeable cat urine smell in reception on arrival. The owners were friendly but the man a bit impatient (might be language). Parking is available at the back, and there are only stairs to the second floor—so request a ground floor room if you have heavy luggage.
The location is excellent, with a shopping mall across the road and an easy walk to town, restaurants, and bars.
The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, though a bit outdated and in need of a deep clean (we noticed some cobwebs). It includes a well-equipped kitchenette, though some items could be replaced. No cat urine smell in the room itself.
Plenty of blankets were provided, and the cats around the property didn’t bother us.

Guest UserVery clean, has everything you need. Wasn’t able to check in by 630pm, called them in advance to inform and arranged for a self check in. Emily was very kind, explained the steps over the phone, and texted again just as a reminder. Self check in was very easy and convenient. Instructions were attached with the key, documents were neatly placed in the room.
Only downside was it wasn’t very close to the supermarket/shops, probably about 15min walk, but it was raining so took us 20min. Driving would have been better.
Please note there’s no lift, so we had to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor.
Overall, would come back again, it was still a great stay!

Guest UserThe hotel was in a good location. Very near to some cafe and ample parking spaces. But unfortunately there was no electricity on our second day due to construction works nearby. To be specific: there was No Electricity from 8-9am until 1-2pm and then resumed normal. We had to finish all the food we bought from supermarket immediately otherwise food would turn bad.
There was a carnival or something nearby and there was fireworks.
