This little unassuming hotel has some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. Eias was friendly, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. He was available when I needed anything from early morning to end of my day. The room itself was clean and very spacious with a comfortable bed. I will definitely stay here again the next time I fly via Gatwick.

Amazing service and fantastic price! I was so impressed with the cost of this hotel. It was just for one night (a few hours) after coming back from holiday, comfy bed, clean bathroom and nice sheets with a lovely helpful guy who seems to never sleep as he is managing guests arriving and leaving. Great hotel for the money.

Nice hotel really enjoy my stay,really friendly and clean,everytime I need something always the are in there to provide,coffee water biscuits anything,I will stay in this hotel in the future,really enjoy my stay,staff is really good,nice and quiet in the night time

Absolutely appalling! I checked in at midnight. On arrival the hotel front door was wide open, opposite the front desk with no one manning it. My room key (for the room right next to the front door) and a document with all of my personal details was left next to it. This is not only exposing my details to the random public but also my room key… anyone could be in my room… both these things are serious safety threats. Once I entered my room… I was SHOCKED at the disgusting state of it. Absolutely disgusting, covered in dust, dead bugs everywhere, stains on the sheets, cobwebs on the ceiling (the list goes on but I have attached pictures for proof), and to top it off there was no towel provided… I dread to think what hidden germs and bacteria were hiding in that room. It was an atrocious experience, I didn’t sleep a wink as I was conscious that someone could walk through the front door of the hotel and my room was next door, and also because of how disgusting the room was. I tried to contact the property, but I kept getting ignored or told ‘property non-refundable’. Of course I deserve a full refund but I didn’t even get an apology. DO NOT BOOK!

DO NOT STAY HERE, 4/9/24. We left soon after checking in. Shame we paid to keep our car there for two weeks. The Victorian house is absolutely filthy, run down and just a money maker for the owner. Our Room 203 was disgusting and certainly hadn’t been cleaned. We had to take all our heavy luggage up as there are no lifts. We had to get the receptionist to bring the Hoover to clean the carpet as it had crumbs all over it. He did apologise. The bedroom furniture was thick with dust as was the tv. The sofa was stained and we were itching. The tea making tray was covered in dust, so were the glasses and cups on it. There were no tea bags or coffee, only one sachet of sugar. The duvet and pillows were feather and heavily stained, the covers didn’t fit. The bathroom was grim, the shower tiles were all cracked and the toilet had skid marks in it. We quickly up and left and went to the hotel down the road. Why they offer this hotel through Holiday Extras is beyond me. The receptionist followed us out asking why we were leaving and we said it was filthy. If I could have left no stars I would have.

This hotel is bare bones. There are pros and cons. This place is basic and sometimes that's what you need. If however you can get a premier inn for £10 more then that's worth it. We got a twin room with SHARED BATHROOM for £49 The first night parking is included thereafter it's £9 a night There are flaws here definitely, curtain rail broken, smudges on the wall, room is musty. No fans for really hot rooms, Having to share a bathroom and the tv remote not working aswell as only having one plug but it is an old building so understandable The beds are comfortable and the bedding clean. Towels clean and so was the bathroom. You have a fridge in your room and your window does open so there is fresh air. Tv works. Rooms are pretty well sound proof. There is breakfast very basic one but hey we wernt expecting anything. They had cornflakes but no milk toaster but no bread. Overall it did the job
