Beautiful lake front hotel and friendly staff. Lovely view from the balconies. Rooms are clean, well-appointed and spacious. Parking is very convenience. Highly recommended, will be back for sure .

Checked in in September, booked 2 rooms, the fee has been paid on Ctrip, but I was deducted 2500 Swiss francs, no pre-authorization, but consumption deduction. When I arrived at the airport, I found that the bill was wrong, and reported it to Ctrip. The hotel lied many times, saying that it would be refunded at first, but it was not refunded after waiting for more than 20 days. Later, it said that it was refunded to another card, but I didn’t use any other cards with them at all. Until now, they are still lying and not refunding the pre-authorization fee. They keep delaying. It’s so **! I have been to Switzerland many times, and the pre-authorization of Swiss hotels is refunded when I check out. I have stayed in this hotel before. Last time, I booked it in English on the hotel’s official website, so there was no problem. This time, I booked it on Ctrip. They are obviously bullying Chinese people. In addition, there was only one guest in each of my two rooms, and they charged environmental fees and city taxes for 2 people in each room. When communicating with the hotel, they replied that the booking information was for 2 people? ? But they know very well how many people are staying in the room! ! ! It’s so ** everywhere, don’t step on the thunder! ! !

The room is much larger than expected and even has a small kitchen. You can directly see the lake. When you check in, you also get a welcome drink so you can go to the bar to order most drinks. Breakfast is in the form of free ordering a dish plus buffet, and the large French windows of the restaurant next to the lake make people feel happy. Good service, friendly staff. Probably one of the best hotels in Zurich.

The ALEX is stylish and the views of Lake Zurich are indescribably beautiful! When you enjoy the excellent food in the restaurant, you just feel like you have arrived. The spa is minimalist and definitely lacks a swimming pool! In any case, the staff tries very hard and is service-oriented and conveys an appreciation that is not fake.

Wonderful, quiet location right on the lake, small wellness area with direct access to swimming in the lake. The finest breakfast, buffet and a la carte for any egg dishes. Not to forget the excellent espresso and cappuccino. Rooms with a view of the lake and first-class parquet floors, as well as the service and friendliness of the employees were excellent. Simply everything to enjoy.

The experience was lovely since the booking forward. They welcomed us very kindly, asked if we need anything. The check in was very quick and they escorted us to our room where we could ask them all about it. Room service is very good, food is amaizing with really beautiful views on the lake. Coffe is great, breakfast is relaxing and very high quality and rich. Hotel is maintenaned 10/10, high quality and feels luxurious. Only thing that I would maybe focus on a little improvement is about spa. It lacks a good sauna (maybe a small finnish one), as they have just 2 IR seats from Klafs that emit very little heat - at least with me. Otherwise, spa is clean, well equipped and with good views on the lake. Thank you for a lovely experience!

This hotel has undergone a new renovation and new rebranding just recently. The staff informed us it has just opened in July. The property is beautiful with very appointed interiors. The colors complimented the natural colors of the surrounding lake. I could not fault the property. My only negative feedback was the unfriendliness of the staff especially front desk. It came a bit of a surprise since the people of Zurich were very friendly and welcoming. However once we stepped back into the hotel were back to the weird cold pretensive greetings. The breakfast area was nice and a very delicious range of food- with a boutique feel.

Everything about Alex Lake Zürich was exactly what we were looking for. It was quiet and relaxing, but close enough to the city to be easily accessible. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from both the train station and the boat dock and we used both extensively. The hotel’s boat was unfortunately not in service while we were there. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The room was spacious and immaculate. It gave us a view of the lake and terrace while still maintaining ample privacy. Breakfast was superb. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Zürich.
