"We returned from the beach on day 2 of our stay and the room was hot and the air conditioning was not running. I called the front desk and the lady who answered said turn the unit off and wait for an hour as they freeze up? She said try that and she would call back in an hour to see if the air was working. From her attitude, I felt like I was interrupting her afternoon. Even though it made no sense, I turned the AC off and waited about 15 minutes and tried again. Still nothing. So I searched the premises and found the circuit breaker located in the next unit had been mistakenly turned off by a repairman. I turned it back on and got my AC back. The hateful lady never did call back to check on us. Needless to say she never lifted a finger to resolve our issue. The room was comfortable but we'll never go back."

"My family just spent a few nights here. The hotel was excellent. Up to date, clean and very quiet. It is within walking distance to several restaurants. The island is best suited to walking and biking. Like most of coastal Florida there is a lot of traffic. The hotel is located on the main road which has a constant flow of traffic. If interested in fishing I would highly recommend Anna Maria Boat Company. They will pick you up at the marina on site."

"This place is run by the same family that has owned it for 50 years. The sons that grew up there are now the managers. They love their customers and treat them like family. This old fashioned but well kept resort is quiet, clean and the location is the best on the island. We watched the sunset every day. The pool at the sister resort is a 5 minute walk away. From the pool take a one minute walk to the beach where the lounge chairs are placed 24/7. We love this place"
