An Island Getaway at Palm Tree Villas

Palm Tree Villas is in walking distance to the beach and places to eat. We walked the beach to The Sand Bar as well as Manatee Beach Park. Our room was clean and very quiet.

It's already one of the top-rated places on the island, and the ratings are true. Proper Floridian hospitality, nothing fancy, just a clean, convenient and near the beach hotel/motel type place on a gem of an island.

We have stayed here several times. Villas always nice and clean and well equipped. The beach is beautiful and only about a 100 yards away. Sandbar restaurant is nearby which is always excellent. There is a free trolley bus around the island so try the Beachhouse restaurant also. We will be back. Karen & Neil

My wife and I stayed in villa 23 for 2 nights we came up for a wedding The villas are a minutes walk from the beach and ours was very clean and had everything you could need. It had one bedroom one bath a TV room with a sleeper sofa a full kitchen so you could go to the Publix down the street and get everything you need and a private patio. We would recommend this to anybody who wants a clean and friendly accommodation. Amanda was superb in making my reservations and making our stay everything we could want

Given the high praise and ranking on Tripadvisor my expectations were a little high, and I was not let down. This was our fourth trip to the island. In the past we had rented houses, but since we were only staying four nights on this trip we decided to try a hotel. The central location on the island allowed for quick trolley trips up to Pine Street and the pier as well as down to the public beach area. The beach was an approximate 3-4 minute walk, just a couple hundred yards or so to the west of the hotel. We stayed in S24 which was an end unit, the perfect size for two. The bed was comfortable and there was little noise from the adjoining suite. The room was up to date and well equipped. The room also has a private patio area around the rear. There was occasionally a couple people in the pool, but for the most part it was unused. The grounds were very well cared for. We experienced one slight problem during our stay when the A/C unit in the room decided to start dripping water on the floor. Mike the maintenance guy was on site within the hour and took care of the issue quickly (clogged drain). The hotel also has wagons, beach toys, umbrellas, and floats all available for your trip to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay! The property was located within a short walk to the beach. We will be back!

Unbelievable value! Location was perfect and so were the amenities and the cleanliness of the unit. Our 5-6 time staying at AMI and the first unit we would stay at again. We will return to this place again and again.

We returned from the beach on day 2 of our stay and the room was hot and the air conditioning was not running. I called the front desk and the lady who answered said turn the unit off and wait for an hour as they freeze up? She said try that and she would call back in an hour to see if the air was working. From her attitude, I felt like I was interrupting her afternoon. Even though it made no sense, I turned the AC off and waited about 15 minutes and tried again. Still nothing. So I searched the premises and found the circuit breaker located in the next unit had been mistakenly turned off by a repairman. I turned it back on and got my AC back. The hateful lady never did call back to check on us. Needless to say she never lifted a finger to resolve our issue. The room was comfortable but we'll never go back.
