After much research I decided on Xaloc. Sooo glad I did. Attention to detail galore. Special thanks to Eva, Adan, Brenda that made my stay special and Lau in the restaurant . Full breakfast included. Individual bungalows are such a plus, no neighbors !! Quiet rooms w A/C, a big fan, mosquito netting, coffee maker and toiletries. Two pools and beachfront !! Right on Playa Holbox and very close to the shopping and restaurants, walkable.

Es un alojamiento incómodo en general. El WiFi apenas llega alrededor de la zona del restaurante, que con la excusa de que los invitados se desconecten se ahorran dinero y mientras ves cómo llegan perfectamente las señales de los resorts de alrededor. La mosquitera es de risa, no cubre completamente la cama con lo cual es totalmente inservible. Poca broma para garantizar un buen descanso. Las camas blandisimas. El aire acondicionado de las cabañas no tiene potencia suficiente para sus dimensiones. El bar de la piscina de adultos, cerrado. El suelo de madera de la piscina de adultos, muy descuidado como para desgraciar a cualquiera. La piscina trasera estuvo vacía la mitad de nuestra estancia y nadie nos avisó de que esto iba a ocurrir o nos compensó de ninguna manera. No hay nevera en los cuartos...pedimos usar la que está medio vacía del restaurante pero es "solo para el servicio". La presión de la ducha, mínima. Las tumbonas de la playa, 4 y con poca sombra. En la zona de segunda línea de playa, la mitad de las camas a pleno sol. Restos de botellas y vasos y cigarrillos de los invitados sin recoger durante todo el día. Las toallas de ducha, con agujeros. Y la última noche, una cucaracha subiendo por la cortina de la ducha.

Volvería sin dudas. La ubicación es excelente, la habitación nos tocó la Holbox un sueño super amplia limpia y cómoda. Camas cómodas Piletas hermosas El personal 10 puntos Sacamos con desayuno incluido y era a la carta y super abundante. La playa y los camastros excelente. Super cerca del centro además.

Loved this place, stayed for 2 nights but wish we could have stayed a week. Breakfast was very good and had good option for vegans with some subs. Staff was friendly and well maintained pool and beach area. Loved it!

Os bangalôs do hotel são muito charmosos, bem decorados e confortáveis. tem uma pegada rústica e ao mesmo tempo sofisiticado. Quarto com bancada enorme na pia do banheiro, ar condicionado bom e ventilador. Não tem wi-fi nos quartos, apenas no refeitório (por opção deles). Possui duas piscinas, uma para adultos e outra para crianças. Oferece redes na frente do bangalô e serviço de praia (cadeiras, ombrelones, espreguiçadeiras, toalhas). Caminhando uns 5 quarteirões se chega na praça central e atravassando a avenida já está de cara com a praia. No útimo dia precisamos sair bem cedo por conta do voo em Cancún, o que nos faria perder o café da manhã. Para suprir essa falta de refeição eles ofereceram sem custo um sanduíche, duas maçãs e uma barra de cereal para levarmos (ponto positivíssimo pra eles). Como em vários hotéis no México, o café da manhã é servido a la carte, então vc pede as opções q estão inclusas no seu pacote e ele é feito na hora. Adorei a ilha e voltaria facilmente para me hospedar aí!

We’ve just had a 2 week stay at this gorgeous hotel. We had a poolside room which was immaculately cleaned every day. Breakfast was great - really good quality and a menu choice but really you could ask for anything you wanted. What stands out at this hotel is the staff - every single one just wants to make your stay perfect.

The property is quaint and in a great location, beach is amazing and an easy walk to town and fun walk to punta mosquito. The rooms are almost identical to Blue Holbox (non beach front rooms). The hot water for showering was non-existent though, possibly two days out of seven where we had warm water for a brief period of time. Included breakfast menu and food was just ok, we found it strange that we would tip the wait staff, however, getting more than one cup of coffee was almost impossible and many times the wait staff seemed to ignore us when we requested more coffee. We ordered a couple of drinks from the bar service, prices were ok but the waiters do not serve on the beach. There also is a bar advertised at the adult only pool but it appears has not been in use in quite some time. Street noise can be pretty loud at night from the ATVs. Front desk staff (Adam) was great and always aimed to please and provide suggestions. We rented bikes from the front desk for a day and it was very easy and prices were similiar to in town prices. The cleaning guy was great, so kind and very appreciative of tips. Beach staff always set up chairs very nicely and kept the beach area clean. Wifi is only available near the front desk but the property makes that very clear and so it was not an issue. There are several well loved cats on the property which were fun to interact with. Overall, the property is average for what you get in Holbox and I would likely consider returning.

Erg goed resort op Isla Holbox! We betaalden de juiste prijs en de kwaliteit was geweldig. We werden welkom geheten met een welkomstdrankje en koud handdoekje. Personeel was op en top aanwezig, vriendelijk, zelfs door taalbarrière erg behulpzaam. Kamer (bungalow) heel schoon, wel veel muggen. 2 zwembaden en prive strand voor de deur. Het enige nadeel is dat er alleen wifi in de lobby is

It’s all about the people and they have the best
The staff was awesome, they could not have been nicer or more helpful. The accommodations were great, the kid friendly pool was a big hit and the staff was top notch.
