Location, Good compromise if you want to split time between their beach club and going downtown for dinner, drinks, party.
The downside is that you can hear the music from a club nearby till midnight, it isn't loud at least in my room, but some may have problem sleeping.
If you want a quiet place you should look further from dt.
Service, it's pretty good, staff is friendly and happy to help.
Beach club, nice but small beach, lots of shade, staff can get overwhelmed with the orders, resulting on a bit of chaos. (Beach bar was closed due to a recent storm, so things may be different when open). You can have some of your own drinks and food.
Rooms (at leas mine) rustic construction, be ready to hear some outside noise and other rooms noise. They are kept clean, no insects, well maintained. Bed was firm. Shower was acceptable (variable pressure, takes to figure out how to get the right water temp.). Towels, you'll have to ask to be swapped (you're on a small island and h2o is limited).
How fast is service in Holbox? well not fast, you're in an island in the Caribbean so if you expect fast service it'll be hard to find here.

Lo mejor del hotel son los chicos que atienden. Pablo,Melisa, Matias y Wanda. El bar y restaurante son buenos. El hotel está muy venido abajo. Falta mucho mantenimiento. Las fotos no condicen con lo real. El desayuno pobre. Bastante sargazo.

Un petit coin de paradis! L'hôtel est idéalement situé près du centre ville: accessible à pied par la plage ou par la rue: environ 300 mètres. Les chambres,(nous en occupions 2),bien équipées avec frigo, clim, ventilateur, coin salon, balcon ou terrasse, serviettes de plage. Elles sont toutes situées dans des petits bungalows répartis sous une petite palmeraie. Certains avis indiquent qu'elles sont sombres, ce qui est normale puisque qu'elle sont toutes sous les arbres. Quand on sort des chambres on est directement les pieds dans le sable à 80 mètres de la mer. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est aussi face à la mer: les petits déjeuner délicieux et copieux avec vue sur la mer, sont des instants magiques. Le personnel est jeune et très sympathique. Les réceptionnistes au top et prêt à rendre service: rien à dire. Nous y avons séjourné 5 jours, et c'est avec des regrets que nous avons quitté ce petit coin de paradis.

Muy justo el hotel. Teníamos reservada una habitación estándar y la tuvimos que canviar por la cama. Era pequeña y la habitación en sí también. Tuvimos que coger una King Size. Muchos mosquitos en todos sitios. El desayuno poco completo, sólo a escoger un plato del menú. La limpieza escasa. Y los coktels no valen nada, agua con hielo.

A fuir. Photos mensongères. Chambre obscure et spartiate. Prix excessif pour le confort. Coffre pas fixé, la climatisation qui fuyait,la rambarde en bois de la terrasse qui ne tenait plus(dangereux ,1er etage) La baie vitrée de la terrasse ne se fermait pas ! Bref! Je remercie cependant la réceptionniste Marie,très agréable mais au service du propriétaire de l hôtel qui ne fait pas d effort de maintenance

This is not an island with huge branded hotels, let me start with that! The location was fantastic for us, right on the beach and only a 5 minute walk from the town, and maybe 15/20 minute walk to the ferry. The bar on the beach was well stocked and the staff were brilliant, we were very well looked after. Cocktails were some of the best we have had on our trip, and the food was also good quality. Bungalow room did the job, but maybe just a bit too small to be able to stretch out and be comfortable without our luggage everywhere. The bed was also tiny, but that’s down to the size of the room. Beech front was nice, and a perfect place for sunset, but the perimeter fencing to stop non guests walking by could do with some TLC. Like all hotels, avoid being ripped off buying excisions through them and go down town and see the locals. Kayak trip with the hotel was 1100 pesos each and down town it was only 800, which also included hotel pick up / water / fruit etc

Les chambres sont très spartiates, mal nettoyées, tout est cassé. Les canalisations refoulent. Les lits sont catastrophiques. Nous avions loué une chambre avec kitchenette, celle-ci est une blague. Il y avait 1 poêle et 2 verres qui ressemblaient à des vases. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre et la seconde n’était pas mieux. Le restaurant du beach club est une catastrophe. Il y a des milliers de mouches, mes 2 enfants ont été malades alors qu’on voyageait depuis un moment sans aucun problème. Le personnel est désagréable, d’une lenteur sans pareil et inefficace au possible. Cet endroit est à fuir. Je n’avais jamais eu une aussi mauvaise expérience. Sans parler du rapport qualité prix évidemment très mauvais…
