We stayed here for two nights during Golden Week with our 4- and 5-year-old children. It was our first time camping with our two children, so we were nervous, but the extraordinary life in the great outdoors was truly soothing and wonderful. It was none other than the Ohno couple who made our stay so wonderful. When we inquired before our stay, they sent us a polite email, and even though it was cold on the first night, they took various measures to deal with it, and the breakfast was really cute, and I was touched by the attention to detail everywhere. We stayed in a glamping tent, and the beds were fully equipped, the shared space was very clean, and we were able to spend a very comfortable time. We made many discoveries in the surrounding nature (I won't go into details here. Please come and find them), and the children had a great time, and time passed by in an instant. The highland train that passed in front of us also seemed to be the best for our son, who loves trains. It seemed that our child cried and it was difficult to go home, as he seemed very reluctant to say goodbye to the Ohno couple, who were so friendly, and to return to reality after such a fun day. I would love to come back to visit nature and see Mr. and Mrs. Ohno again. Thank you very much.

My family (husband and wife, two sons, four adults) stayed in the trailer house. From the trailer house, we could see the spacious fields and the majestic mountain range of the Southern Alps. Despite such a wonderful location, it is a luxurious accommodation that is limited to only three groups. While glamping is often a small facility like a pre-built house that is crowded with people, this sense of privacy was perfect for me, who wanted to spend my days off quietly and leisurely without meeting people as much as possible. The vast 14,000 square meter site is filled with the aforementioned fields, groves, and a small stream, giving it a rustic charm that is not overly constructed. And the trailer house we stayed in was completely original. I was happy to see such a wonderful trailer house in Japan. The interior uses wood throughout, and the minimalist modern accessories suggest the owner's good taste. There are large windows on three sides around the bed, and the hotel is packed with ideas to allow you to enjoy the great outdoors with all your senses. We cooked our own meals this time, but the kitchen, although compact, had everything we needed and we didn't feel inconvenienced at all. (We brought our own Dutch oven and fire pit.) This is a wonderful "tiny hotel" that provides the comfort of a hotel while allowing you to feel close to the abundant nature, just like camping. It has just opened, so we hope to return and see how the charm of the landscape is further enhanced in the future.

I wanted to enjoy a quiet bonfire and starry sky in nature. Then I found out about The Nomad and stayed there for two days and one night during Golden Week. The wind was very strong that day, and the clouds piled up after noon, but we managed to stabilize the fire and enjoyed a BBQ with a local craft beer in hand. After darkness enveloped us, many stars appeared every time the clouds parted, and we were able to spend a quiet night with a popping bonfire. We stayed in a trailer house, which was very comfortable with clean showers and beds. It got quite cold after the evening, but there was air conditioning and even an extra blanket for when we went to bed, so we were able to get a good night's sleep. The second day was a cloudless blue sky! After a stroll around the grounds with a view of Kita-dake and Kaikoma-ga-take in the distance, it was time for the breakfast we were looking forward to. Our basket was filled with homemade special soup and other carefully selected items, and since we checked out late, we were able to enjoy it at a leisurely pace. At The Nomad, all you can see is a vast, unadorned site and the Southern Alps beyond. The three accommodation buildings are located at the edge of the site so as not to obstruct the view. How did they come up with such an ideal place? When I met the owners on site and learned about their way of thinking and their personality, it all made sense to me. I'm grateful for this wonderful place and for meeting them. I hope to visit again!

We stayed with our family of four (elementary and junior high school children). At first, we were worried that it would be small because it was a trailer house, but it was enough for our needs, and the bed was rather spacious and comfortable. The room had a nice smell of wood and was clean, and there were many large windows that gave it a great sense of openness. We had a blissful time lounging on the bed while looking out at the great outdoors. We also had a luxurious time sitting on the terrace in the action chair we brought with us and reading a book while feeling nature. The children also had sparkling eyes, running around the large grounds and playing in the stream that springs from the mountains, an experience that is hard to find in the city. The welcome drink we received at check-in was also nice, as it was local grape and apple juice. The owner's homemade soup for breakfast was delicious. My daughter, who doesn't like vegetables, ate it all, even though it was quite a large portion, probably because we were in nature. However, be careful that the terrace cannot be used when it rains. This place has just opened, so we have high hopes for the future. We also had a good time interacting with the owner's warm personality. By the way, the owner has gained experience at one of the world's leading luxury hotels for many years. I was convinced. I will repeat this when I visit the Yatsugatake area.

We used the hotel for the first time on a weekend in late May, with two families, six adults and one Bam (medium-sized dog). The original trailer house was carefully designed in every way, and the bedding and facilities were a testament to the owner's good taste, making it a true "tiny hotel". We stayed in the trailer house for three people, and in the glamping tent for three people plus Bam. On the day, the weather was unfortunate, with light rain on and off, but thanks to the large tarp tent and wood deck in front of the glamping tent, six adults plus Bam were able to enjoy a comfortable BBQ dinner. We drank until quite late, but the glamping tent was surprisingly warm and comfortable, and Bam was sleeping soundly with his arms and legs stretched out. The next morning, the rain had stopped and we had a delicious breakfast, and it was a refreshing highland breakfast. By the time we started getting ready to go home, the sky had cleared up, and we could see the blue sky and the distant mountains beautifully, and we were able to play frisbee in the field. I often go camping, but packing up on rainy days and after the rain is a pain. However, that isn't necessary here, so this rain man was able to spend time there very comfortably. I would like to use it again in a different season and enjoy the different seasonal arrangements of Mother Nature. The station is close by, so I thought it might be a good idea to take some time off work and head to the site empty-handed from the city center! I'd like to thank the Ohno couple for their kindness and their kindness in taking care of Bam. Thank you very much.
