The Hoi An Serendipity Experience Hostel

Do not go here! One of the employees has a dog and abuses it in front of all the guests. The dog was beaten several times (20x) with a crutch. After this he found it necessary to shock the dog with an electric fly swatter and to give it a few more kicks and punches. One of the hotel guests got up and said something about it after which it stopped and all this because he had done his business somewhere where this was not allowed. We stayed here for 3 nights and then left even though we still had 3 nights to go. When checking out and asking for our money back, this same man with a machete was looking at us intimidatingly from a distance. Besides that, the rooms are very noisy and there is mold everywhere (you can smell this too). Conclusion do not go here. Such hostels should be closed as soon as possible.
