Sausage Tree Safari Camp

We spent 3 days at this amazing lodge! Thank you to all the wonderful staff for your warm hospitality and the incredibly delicious food ! A big thank you to Themba and Polite for 6 safaris and a bush walk that gave us memories for a lifetime! You gave us a feeling of being one with nature and the animals, and we learned so much! It made such a strong impression on me that I’ve been dreaming of being on safari every night for the past week! Tip! This was our fifth time at Sausage Tree (although my husband thinks it's our fourth ..he is wrong !). What can I say that has not already been said? To us it is like coming home each time we visit . It is truly a very special place. The staff are fabulous , the food amazing and the accommodation wonderful . As for the game drives I feel I have learnt so much from the knowledgable staff...I am not sure that my husband's take on the local flora and fauna can match their expertise , but it does provoke an awful lot of laughter. I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday here this time and from the rendition of Happy Birthday in multiple languages from other guests and the staff to sharing the delicious cake, made it truly memorable . I honestly cannot think of anywhere I would rather be. Staying up until the small hours chatting, laughing and star gazing made it the best birthday ever so Thank You from the bottom of my heart. Nothing is too much trouble and anything is possible . Go with an open heart and be prepared to share your experience with wonderful people . We will be back x

We stayed 4 nights in tent 5. The whole experience from start to finish was superb. Collection and transfer was easy. The tent was fantastic and had everything you could need. We loved the products and the outdoor shower. The staff are exceptional. The food was of high quality and good variety. We had massages which were amazing. Most importantly the game drives were wonderful - each drive was different and the guides were exceptional. Shout out to the whole team who create a really special experience.

Sausage Tree Lodge is a magical place. Our family visited for our wedding anniversary, and we were incredibly impressed by the beautiful wildlife, the delicious food at the lodge, and the attention to our dietary needs. The hospitality, kindness, and professionalism of the team, from trackers and guides to the front desk, chef, and cleaning crew, make the experience incredible. We were honored by the special surprise anniversary dinner and the accompanying decorations. The hot water bottles at night were lovely, as well. We hope to return one day and highly recommend this lodge.

Our second fabulous visit to Sausage Tree Camp.. and it was as wonderful as our first. All of the staff are so kind and friendly, nothing is too much trouble and the camp is so beautiful. We had rain during our stay, but this did not stop us having some incredible wildlife sightings.. including multiple lion sightings, leopard, elephant, hippo, buffalo and the most fantastic birds. Themba and Life were brilliant guides and brought the bush to life for us (we missed having Polite with us as he was on leave).. and Thandi and Karinne (and all the team) took great care of us at the lodge.. It's a truly special place, we do hope to return
