Amazing stay! Friendly staff and the game drives were fantastic! The rangers went above and beyond to make us see the big 5. Excellent food! Comfortable and warm bed! Such a nice view from my chalet. Giraffes, elephants and hippos come to the hotel, it’s very nice. I left the place with tears in my eyes! Was my birthday and they celebrate with me, was really special

I had an unforgettable stay at Nyati Safari Lodge! From the moment we arrived, the reception team made us feel so welcome with their excellent service. The tents are spotless, comfortable, and perfectly situated to enjoy the most breathtaking views — waking up to the sight of hippos in the river is an experience I’ll never forget. The game drives were incredible; the rangers are highly experienced and knowledgeable, making every moment exciting and educational. One activity you shouldn’t miss is the squid bike ride — such a fun and unique way to explore. The farewell dance was also a wonderful cultural touch that made the experience even more special. But if I had to choose the highlight of my stay, it would absolutely be the food. The chef is truly amazing, and every meal was five-star quality. Each dish was a delight — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Everything at Nyati Safari Lodge exceeded my expectations, but the food alone is worth the trip. I truly enjoyed every part of my stay and can’t wait to return!

Cheetah lodge was superbly situated on the Olifants river — it consits of 2 units with 16 beds in total, sharing a big heated pool and kitchen facilities for your own chef and catering if needed. The meals were excellent for vegetarians. Game drives twice a day, ended with snacks and drinks at beautiful viewpoints. Sunday dinner was on top of a hill at The Lion King where views stretched to the Drakensberg mountains and elephants drank at a pan right below us. Game viewing was excellent and well regulated to avoid crowded sightings of the Big Five The staff went out of their way to see to all our needs, including jump starting our vehicle when the battery went on strike in the cold winter night

I recently hosted my wedding there and I have zero regrets. The stay FAR exceeded expectations. The rooms are so comfortable and look like they have recently been updated! Looking out straight onto the olifants river, with hippos in the water, elephants walking by, and some resident bushbuck and waterhogs. The food was amazing (geniunely was very impressed), with matched local wines! Definitely recommend the morning omellete (a big hit with the friends and family). Twice daily game drives were also awesome, be sure to do the PM drive to enjoy a sundowner and a drink. The highlight though had to be the staff. So accomodating, and genuinely seemed to care about our stay. Nothing ever seemed to be an issue. They will remain the highlight of our stay! We look forward to staying again.

Beautiful area on the edge of the Olivants river. Area clean, neat and very well taken care off. Wildlife to be seen and felt directly from your own room terrace and restaurant. Excellent game drives with experienced and friendly rangers, lots of various animals seen at close distance. We had the feeling that if a wish came into our mind, somebody at the lodge had already thought about it and fullfilled our wish. Very good food and wines on all the meals. Personnel helpful and friendly.

Nyati has done some lovely upgrades, the view is stunning and the food is fantastic. Always a warm welcome and such friendly staff. I loved my stay, had some amazing sightings, a very cool lion one and will be back :)

We had the most amazing stay at Nyati Safari Lodge! The Rhino Tent was such a cool experience – really comfortable and the views were just stunning. Every meal was incredible, and I was so impressed with how well they handled my gluten allergy (Celiac). I never felt like I was missing out, which was such a nice bonus. A big part of what made our trip so special was our guide, Henry. We spent most of our 7 days with him, and honestly, he made the safari unforgettable. He knows so much about everything – from the tiniest plants to the biggest animals – and you can tell he really loves what he does. His passion and knowledge made every drive exciting and fun. I’d 100% recommend Nyati Safari Lodge, and if you can, definitely go on Henry’s game drive . He’s fantastic!

Pleasant. I wish there were more options of meals. They are very restricted. Although you can ask for something else, these are also restricted. The rooms are confortable and the rangers do whatever they can to provide the guest with the best of the safari.
