Our family had a great 3 night stay here. The pictures don't do it justice, the place was magical. Staff were very accomodating with any request. The villa was very clean with only the shower being a bit sporadic. The only thing I think could be improved is the way that seating is assigned for the afternoon game drives. If there is a lot of people going then you are assigned a vehicle which is fine however if there is less than capacity it is a free for all. Gets a bit of a lolly scramble straight after lunch with people rushing from the lunch tables to get a seat of choice in the game vehicles. If you were a couple this wouldn't really be a problem but with 4 it becomes a bit stressful to ensure everyone can get into the one truck. All the guides were very good with a wealth of knowledge to share. Overall a fantastic place to stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The lodge itself is beautiful with top notch food, great guides for the safari drives and warm hospitality. You can spot elephants and hippos in the Olifant river from the deck outside the villa and at the restaurant and makes it feel like you're living in the wilderness. Our vegetarian diet was well catered for, the staff will really make you feel at home. The lodge is situated on top of a hill which involved a 30 minute bumpy ride on a non-paved road so it might be best to opt for the hotel pick up and drop. There was however an issue with one of the bathrooms in our villa which could've been handled better.

Our highlight of the trip to South Africa. From the time we landed in Hoedspruit airport, to the warm welcome we received by the Nyati staff when we reached the lodge. It was just amazing. Special commend to Chef Cepo and his team who catered to our dietary requirements perfectly and cooked some amazing dishes The braai experience and the meal under the countless star at the Bauma. His team also ensured our regular requirements were on our dinner table without us asking for it . The amazing and friendly Ashante who ensured we were part of all the game drives including those when we personally requested for a drive an hour later in the early mornings. Game ranger Daniel for an exhilarating night safari experience with the elephants & Kayla for the morning safari drive and the warm coffee break . A special thanks to Game ranger Kenith for some amazing safari experiences and ensuring we saw the black rhino and the leopard. He even tried his best for us to spot the lion though we did not see any. Our lodge, Olifant 1 was amazing and super spacious with all amenities. The housekeeping staff ensured that the room was spotlessly clean. Those 4 nights at Nyati will be etched in our minds for a long time to come.

Ficamos 3 noites no Hotel. Fizemos 6 safáris no total. Desde a chegada, até a saída, o atendimento de todos é impressionante! Maravilhoso! Os safáris em si, você parece estar dentro de um programa da Discovery Channel! Comida Maravilhosa! Quartos e acomodações muito boas! Fomos recebidos com muita simpatia e saímos felizes demais! Super recomendado! Fizemos safáris com 3 guias diferentes: Daniel, Leonardo e Nickel! Todos muito experientes, mas a simpatia do Nickel nos conquistou, o cara é um profissional ímpar! What an experience!! Everything is awesome... the experience of a safari and the animals around the Olifants River is from another world but, about Nyati itself, if you have any doubts just go!! Amazing food, great experience and care om every meal. The Rangers are truly engaged on give you the best experience possible. Henry, Nicholis, Mika and Nickel were awesome. Special thanks to Chamet, super careful to the guests. We arrived by car at night and she arranged a person to guide us from the gate to the lodge by night in safe. If you can stay on Sunday nights to enjoy the dinner at sunset and game drive at night.

Cheetah lodge was superbly situated on the Olifants river — it consits of 2 units with 16 beds in total, sharing a big heated pool and kitchen facilities for your own chef and catering if needed. The meals were excellent for vegetarians. Game drives twice a day, ended with snacks and drinks at beautiful viewpoints. Sunday dinner was on top of a hill at The Lion King where views stretched to the Drakensberg mountains and elephants drank at a pan right below us. Game viewing was excellent and well regulated to avoid crowded sightings of the Big Five The staff went out of their way to see to all our needs, including jump starting our vehicle when the battery went on strike in the cold winter night

I recently hosted my wedding there and I have zero regrets. The stay FAR exceeded expectations. The rooms are so comfortable and look like they have recently been updated! Looking out straight onto the olifants river, with hippos in the water, elephants walking by, and some resident bushbuck and waterhogs. The food was amazing (geniunely was very impressed), with matched local wines! Definitely recommend the morning omellete (a big hit with the friends and family). Twice daily game drives were also awesome, be sure to do the PM drive to enjoy a sundowner and a drink. The highlight though had to be the staff. So accomodating, and genuinely seemed to care about our stay. Nothing ever seemed to be an issue. They will remain the highlight of our stay! We look forward to staying again.
