This is a Camp worth visiting. Covering a large area of land directly opposite the Kruger airport. The Lodge itself is stunning, nothing missing, warm fires (July visit) as well as great food. The game drives yielded some stunning creatures, we could have spent more time with the small animals/birds but nothing taken away from a top trip!

Our stay in Kapama exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Their hospitality, treatment, luxurious room and every activity were better than we could have dreamed about. We stayed at Kapama Karula to celebrate our son's 10th birthday, and the staff made every effort possible to make us feel like kings and queens. We're definitely coming back to Kapama!

WOW WOW WOW, what a magical & amazing jaw dropping place!! Every single thing about the reserve is absolutely stunning. Had to pinch myself seeing all the stunning animals in their natural habitat, right up close and personal literally in touching distance. The safari's & safari staff were the best ever, so informative on so many different levels, the information explained from the top to the bottom, stars to the dirt and everything in between. Stunning 10***+ accommodation, service, staff, food & spa. It was simply, out of this world.

My family and I had one of the best experiences and trips of our lives at Kapama Karula, it was magnificent! From the private charter until the end, we had one of the best services we have ever had in our lives. Everything, food, service, rooms, game reserve, incredible!

"We were thoroughly impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of Mike (the Ranger), Lovness (the Waiter), and the reception staff. The level of hospitality across all departments—reception, housekeeping, the chef, waiters, and rangers—was truly exceptional. We’re curious to know where your staff receive their training, as their service was truly outstanding."

Fab property with beautiful rooms and super pleasant staff. The camp is well organised — safari drives feel personal and the guides share info with other vehicles so you get amazing sightings. Food’s pretty good too. Sifiso, our guide, was just incredible — his knowledge of animals, plants, and even the stars blew us away. He and Martin, the spotter, made an awesome team. The jeeps were comfy, they stuck to the rules but still got us up close to the Big 5 (and more!) almost every time. Couldn’t have asked for a better safari experience! Thank you Sifiso and Kapama Karula!
