This is one great place. Excellent facilities. Great staff. Good food. animals galore. The game drives are what Kampama is all about and they do it well. During a 3 day stay we saw the "Big 5" and more. Our Ranger (driver) had 7 years experience and our Tracker had 3. Great team.

We spent three nights at Kapama and we enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was amazing and the people there were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The game drives were fantastic- we saw so many animals up close- all the Big 5 in one day. If you want to see African animals and enjoy some luxury as well Kapama is an excellent location.

This was my second and third stay at this property. I brought two groups from the US and knew Kapama would be on our itinerary for certain. From the game drives, to the culinary options, the service and the spa, there is no better a destination to experience all that Kruger has to offer you when you go to South Africa. Don't miss it! Our guides Phillip, Hulani, Jared and the sweet tracker in this pictures whom I lost her name :( were absolutely wonderful! Caring, determined and so informative. Kapama will be on all my itineraries.

We were left without any words in our mouth at the moment of checking in after have discovered the beauty and perfection in every detail of this place . We loved our stay here and definitely looking to be back as soon as we can! Everyone very friendly and kind , great food and we sure lived the games drives. À to do thing for sure !

Rassie and Bianca were exceptional on our safari’s. We always saw something different every time we went out! Rassie is so knowledgeable on the animals and vegetation in the area. Him and Bianca were so personable and professional at all times. The lodge was beautiful and quiet and you never felt surrounded by people. The views from the balcony and soaking tub were always exciting because you never knew what you were going to see! The food and snacks were always good but the honor of experiencing the presence of so many wonderful animals was very humbling. We will always have fond memories of the Kapama River Lodge.
