From booking my wedding rooms years before my big day for me and my bridesmaids , right through to the day of my wedding the staff were brilliant and nothing was too much for them. Although I’m a local I can’t wait to stay over again - and of course I’ll be popping by their fabulous restaurant soon

We stayed in a superior room for one night on our way further up north. The room was stunning with views to the front of the property. It was spacious with an amazing bathroom. We had an evening in the restaurant, which was beautiful, as was the breakfast. The hotel is in a perfect location for walking to the town, round the Abbey and through the park. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely perfect stay and a delicious meal. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Despite having an event at the hotel --and clearly being a very popular restaurant among locals, the Owner and staff made us feel like very special guests from the minute we arrived. They could not have been more gracious or kind. Our room was very comfortable, parking was easy and the hotel is just steps from Hexham Abbey which is well worth a visit. A truly exceptional stay.

Totally faultless. A lovely hotel in Hexham. The staff were 1st class. The bar area and restaurant had a real.continental feel . It was so relaxed clean . Breakfast was first class and service outstanding

Very enjoyable 2 night stay here. Had one of the large front facing rooms which was well equipped and nicely furnished. Great position in town centre but quiet and easy to park right outside. We ate in the restaurant which was also lovely, all dishes hand made with skill and care, all staff were friendly and helpful!

First visit & will definitely be back. Excellent - friendly & attentive staff & delicious food. Someone recommended The Beaumont to us for Sunday Lunch - they were not wrong. We had the beef (slightly pink & tender with all the trimmings) & trout served with caulifower cheese, red cabbage & swede. Both were very tasty & great VfM at £19. For dessert we both had the bitter chocolate tart with burnt orange & cream. A dream...salty, bitter & sweet. The only downside for us was the noise level for a hearing aid wearer in a large, open plan space but otherwise top notch. 2 courses £27 3 courses £35

Handsome looking hotel, right in the centre of town next to the park and abbey. It has a really nice feel to it as soon as you walk in due to the large, bright open plan restaurant, bar and reception area. We only stayed for two nights and ate out for breakfast and dinner, so couldn't comment on the quality of the food (the menu did look good though). Our room/bed was very clean and comfortable, and the decor and general ambience of the whole hotel was lovely. But what really impressed us was the friendliness and politeness of the staff, and also that (on the evening that we sat in the bar at least) the owner was working his socks off 'front of house' with the waiters in the busy restaurant and making sure that the whole ship ran smoothly, which is always reassuring and good to see. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Beaumont. Looking forward to staying again on our next trip to Hexham.
