Skipper Beachfront Suites ★★★
Blue Sea Beach Affiliated by Melia ★★★★★
"I visited this hotel for the third time this year. I highly recommend it! The services are excellent—from the food, cleanliness, and facilities , the staff! Such welcoming people! Thank you, Blue Sea, for a wonderful stay!"
Le Palme ★★★
"I am a big believer in you get what you pay for. If I could give stars for staff then Angela who runs the bar/cafe would get five 🌟 she is such a credit to the place and a lovely lady. She was so friendly and easy to talk to and her dinks/food was spot on! The bar area was exceptional clean also. Maria was also nice and helpful. The apartment we had was very spacious and adequately clean, ground floor so spacious terrace too. The bathroom was a big let down and needs a thorough make over as does the kitchenette area! With a little love and tlc these apartments could be so much better. The pool area was ok although the pools were very cold. The location is superb. Just to the right of the the apartments is the Street Bar and I would highly recommend this place. The food everywhere was delicious. If it’s beauty and luxury you want then please avoid booking but if you can close your eyes to a few things and want somewhere cheap to stay then this is the place. All in all we had a good weeks holiday and will definitely return to Malia (but will choose a different hotel/apartment to stay in.). We could list things that need immediate improvement but are not going to, like I said it was a cheap break, and you get what you pay for!"
Abaton Island Resort & Spa ★★★★★
"As good as always, but unfortunately the hotel facilities are a bit old, especially the swimming pool, which is not so amazing."
Creta Verano Hotel ★★★
"Really good facilities the manager in charge was helpful and made it easy and quality of place was good"
Paralos Kosta Alímia ★★★★★
"We had an excellent stay and couldn't have been happier with our experience. Everything was truly outstanding—from the welcoming atmosphere to the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. The amenities were excellent, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Every detail contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful experience."
Karteros Hotel ★★★
"Awesome! ^^"
Filia Luxury Suites ★★★★
Sarpidon Apartments ★★★
"Room was very nice. The site is well maintained. Good selection of food but close to many restaurants for eating out, above all the staff make it a great leisurely holiday NO KIDS during my stay. What’s not to like. Clean pool and good prices."

"The best hotel I've ever been to. The staff are welcoming and attentive. The hotel is sublime. It's a feast for the eyes. The atmosphere is great. I highly recommend it."
The Noverian Scenic Crete 5 Star Hilltop Villa Resort & Spa
"Location and villa with own pool on the surface looked amazing when we arrived. The service that followed can only be compared to fawlty towers. The place is chronically understaffed ( although they seem capable of putting on massive functions at the weekends; hotel guests come a poor second) Housekeeping in terms of cleaning is almost non existent which means no clean towels or toilet paper supplied unless you beg reception. Staff are rude the manager is the worst of all thinking that the lack of standards are a joke, which is infuriating and where the rest of the staff take their lead. Staff shouted at guests and lied on numerous occasions. The spa was shut for the entirety of our two week stay, so having paid for that facility and under the guise of a 5 star hotel I feel totally ripped off! It's basically self catering where you have to buy your own cleaning products if you want any hygiene standards."
Stella Island Luxury Resort & Spa (Adults Only)
"So the hotel was very good, the only problem was the reservation, I booked with trip with private jacuzzi, and when I arrived at the hotel there was no reservation with jacuzzi but only a basic room. I saw the reservation at the hotel so the error came from trip. They only reimbursed me 293 euros while the rooms without jacuzzi were at least 500 euros less.. Really disappointed, I don't think I'll book again on trip. But the hotel was great!!"
Paralos Venus Suites Adults Only
"Hello, I can highly recommend this place; it is absolutely top-notch, 10/10. My wife and I stayed here and couldn't find a single flaw. The service is absolute perfection and the food is excellent. There is a slightly smaller selection, but that isn't a bad thing at all—you will still leave breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a completely full stomach. We had an all-inclusive package and booked the hotel directly. Our airport transfers were arranged for both our arrival and departure. When we wanted to take a trip to Heraklion, they called a taxi for us. They have their own app where you can find all the information about the hotel and book things like massages, dinners, yoga, etc. They also communicated with us promptly via WhatsApp. A truly great place for a week-long vacation."
Enorme Infinity Beach ex Infinity Blue
"The hotel is conveniently located right by the beach. The daily room cleaning is perfunctory and not thorough. The food is bland and repetitive."
Amazones Village Suites
"sadly this is no way a 4 star hotel, id say just it would be just making a 3 and thats only because the staff were lovely. We booked two weeks here at the beginning of september and stayed in the junior suite with partial sea view i think it was called that .If your not very fit or mobile you may struggle with how steep set this hotel is with steep paths and many stairs to rooms, not a problem for us but more elderly people will struggle.while there we noticed people dragging their cases along the long road to the hotel,we think thats because the road was narrow and no where for coaches to turn around ,so they dropped people off at the end of the road and had to make their own way to hotel on foot,my advice hire a car from airport or get a taxi,at least youre guaranteed being dropped off at hotel front door. When we went to get keys to our room the manager sent a young lad up to make sure our room had been cleaned, he came back saying it had been, shouldnt he already know its been cleaned ready for next guests? The room itself was quite large but really really dated. Our room had a cooker hob top, kettle ,microwave, fridge and a toaster. The bathroom was in a bit of a state needing a good clean and a bit of a fix up.There was some shower product residue on the shower/bath wall, the toilet seat was broken but we managed to get them to fix it,but no doubt it will break again because the seat doesnt fit the toilet bowl properly and slipped when sat on.The shower itself was a bit of a pain because the shower head was on the side wall above the bath not the front or the back of the bath ,so if you wasnt standing directly in front of the water stream the water hit the long shower curtain and drenched the floor, making it dangerously slippy when stepping out of the bath.i had to use the hotel hand towels a a bath mat to stand on. While there we only had out bedding changed once in the whole 2 weeks we stayed. They may have swept and mopped the rooms but thats debatable because my feet were constantly black when walking barefoot in the room..One day i ended up with a small sliver of glass in my foot while in the the bedroom..that though may have come from falling off the broom if they swept, who knows..The pool itself is nice and deep but again not very safe..one set of steps to enter the pool which were very slippy and had no hand rail to hold onto while entering the pool, saw a couple of older ladies struggle and slip trying to get in,it really needs a hand rail ,it could also do with pool ladders at the deeper end of the pool. The decking around the pool was terrible..nails and screws sticking up ,loose boards and splintered wood.I always wore water shoes around the pool because of this. The food was ok,breakfast was hit and miss depending on what was put out. One sunday they did a bbq at 24 euros per person..that was nice .If you like your drinks stick to wine and beers because the cocktails were poor, all syrups no alcohol.I can highly reccomend eating out in"
Heronissos Hotel
"I spent a week at this hotel. Let's start with the positives: the hotel buffet has a wide selection, and the food is good but not exceptional, which is perfectly in line with the price. The pools are beautiful and have plenty of lounge chairs. The open bar has friendly and very fast bartenders. The hotel's location is also very convenient, close to nightlife. The negatives, however, are: the hotel has several facilities; the main one is beautiful and renovated, while the others are a little less impressive (some more so than others). I noticed a balcony in the less impressive facility overlooking the main pool that has a very dark damp stain and is constantly dripping. This balcony overlooks an outside sidewalk, which is extremely dangerous for passersby. Furthermore, in another facility, the one across the street from the main pool (the one where I stayed), I noticed cracks in the balcony above mine. These facilities definitely need to be renovated (and in the case of the damp stain, quickly to prevent pieces of the balcony from falling on passersby's heads). Also the rooms of the main building are better than the others (some are still good rooms, others are not) because they are premium rooms or something similiar."
Asterias Village
"On our last day here Asterias village hotel , been a great stay for 1 week , hotel is very clean very polite staff , breakfast was very good nice fresh food fruit and yoghurt was excellent, different teas and coffees , the breakfast staff very polite and welcoming! The pool area is very clean and has been modernised looks great , the night bar has Nicolas serving drinks with a great smile and very welcoming! While we was here we had a massage with on site nautilus spa and Micheal he’s very attentive and polite and we felt amazing after the treatment well worth a visit ! We had a great room , facing the see and the pool , very modern and clean we did upgrade the room when we booked with jet 2 All in all a great place for the price and food for breakfast and the restaurant at the top was lovely! Would recommend staying here "
Semiramis Village
"The hotel is ok but it is not 4 star I would say it possible 3 star it might have been 4 star when opened but definitely not now food is good always something to eat. If staying there have strong legs as it's up hill everywhere and the lift goes up one floor in lobby, rooms can be up to four levels higher anyone with problems with stairs not advised to go, the village is in the middle between Hersonissos and stalis 30 to 40 minutes walk either way . The hotel is all inclusive but they have a lot to learn about all inclusive it's not done well small plastic cups for drinks and slow service so expect to queue for drinks, beer wine and spirits are local and poor quality. The staff are nice very friendly and helpfull. One other thing there not enough sunbeds for the amount people there and if you want one get up very early to put towels on beds. Overall it's an ok hotel I had a pleasant stay i didn't stay in the hotel evening's as there is nothing to do most people played cards and no entertainment except for one night a week they had a dance group on but was poor show I left after 5 minutes."
Cook's Club Hersonissos Crete
"If you're looking for the ultimate hotel for an unforgettable party vacation, this is the perfect place! The hotel is absolutely amazing, with stylish and comfortable rooms, two beautiful swimming pools, and outstanding food that exceeds every expectation. The brunch is delicious, offering a wide variety of fresh and high-quality dishes. The pool bar serves some of the best cocktails I've ever had, and the DJ creates an incredible atmosphere every day with great music, positive vibes, and endless fun. If you love parties and vibrant holidays, this is definitely the place to be! The staff deserve special praise. Everyone is kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. This hotel perfectly combines luxury, relaxation, and unforgettable entertainment. I highly recommend it and can't wait to come back!"
Stella Paradise "by Checkin"
"We arrived at Stella Palace after having to stay in Crete for two weeks. The place is charming and perfectly located—right next to the beach and promenade. It’s clean and well-maintained, the room is spacious and includes a balcony and a kitchenette. And of course, Stella herself was wonderful and became a friend. She gave us great tips for trips in the area and was happy to accommodate any request. Simply an amazing and enjoyable place that offers excellent value for money."
Pollis Hotel
"Stayed one week, beginning of May 2024 . Pros : - hotel is new,, cosy and clean ; has three separate buildings plus another one under construction ; we stayed in main building ( with the reception ). - staff was very attentive, kind and nice - a big thanks to all of them ! - breakfast and dinner were ok : tasty food and decent variety of menus - open buffet _ ventilation in bathroom - very fast and effective - beds and mattresses very comfortable - there was a small outdoor relaxing area with a pool and sunbeds Cons : - location is not along the beach , but close to cliff promenade , tavernas and shops - room furniture is new , but very minimalist - not enough shelves to put your belongings - no cosmetic amenities in the bathroom ( which you shoud expect in a 4 stars hotel ) - no towel ports in the bathroom , to let the wet towels dry properly . Even you let the towels outside on the balcony over night , they could not dry due to air humidity and temperature - for unknown reasons , they did not offer classic toilet paper. Instead , there was only a dispenser for paper napkins , to be used both for face and as toilet paper ! - the most annoying drawback was the bad lighting in the bathroom . You barely could see clearly your face in the mirror when shaving or putting makeup , respectively I tried to be as objective as I could in this review , but I shall not make any special recommendation . It is everybody's choice to select this hotel or not ."
