This is our third stay at Villa Iokasti and was exceptional as per our previous stays! Eleni, Kate and all their staff are just beautiful, caring people who will always go the extra mile for you. Our room was as usual spotlessly clean and was throughout our 18 night stay. The grounds are simply beautiful with a wonderful organic herb garden and fruit trees. Kate kindly told us to help ourselves! The smells are amazing. We met some wonderful guests during our stay and enjoyed the best food in their exceptional restaurant (simply the best). We had the breakfast baskets this time and they were generous and filling! Everything about Villa Iokasti is beautifully authentic and we can’t wait to return! Thank you so much Kate and Eleni. Are you looking for that hidden gem, the place that has that extra touch and makes you feel at home ? No need to look any further - Iokasti has it all. A truly amazing place , where the heart is in every detail, personal and true. This has been our second stay , and it will not be our last. Coming in from the streets of Koutouloufari, is like entering a small paradise - with a fantastic outdoor area with a lot of flowers and green, charming pool area and little White «houses» in all different sizes . The 2 bedroom apt is great and spacious, and like the rest of Iokasti, full of charm. The Iokasti restaurant is the best in the villages - do not miss it . But most of all - what makes this place so wonderful is the staff ❤️ They all put their heart in what they do - and they can truly not do enough to make your stay something special . Cecilie and the cleaning team are so attentive , the staff in the restaurant are so serviceminded and nice , the Gardner making the area so beautiful, and least but not last - the owners Kate & Eleni … they make this place what it is ❤️ Thank you for a wonderful stay

Wow what can i say I have been to this village 8 times now .didn’t know this Great place was here . Truly outstanding very clean comfortable great surroundings Great pool with sunbeds . Great restaurant and welcoming bar. nothing too much trouble .Kate and Eleni where fantastic Hosts what a Hidden Paradise will Return.

We return year after year to Villa Iokasti. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the pool area is stunning, the restaurant is the best in the area!and the staff and owners are super friendly. Everything is just wonderful and we highly recommend it to fellow travellers.

Just returned from 12 nights at Villa Loaksti, and it was just the best experience. Eleni and Kate can't do enough for you, and even the cleaning staff made us feel so welcome, and did everything they could to make the stay comfortable. It is like a little Cretan village with spotless accommodation and a fabulous restaurant with the best food in the village. The breakfast basket is so fresh and delicious when delivered straight to your room, so what's not to love? Noticed a couple of negative reviews, not sure where they stayed !!! Booked to go back in 8wks

I totally disagree with the negative reviews. We have just extended our stay to three weeks it’s that good. The food is amazing , very clean rooms and delightful staff . I know what I saw here and it is first class . The towels are changed daily , the hotel is spotless and the owners are lovely people and that is why people keep coming back !

Everything about Villa Iokasti is wonderful. The rooms are beautifully presented and spotlessly clean, the food is the best in Koutalafari and the owners and staff are just lovely. This is our 4th return visit and we can’t fault it.

Wonderful stay in Koutouloufari. The apartments are set in beautiful gardens and everything was kept exceptionally clean. Great pool, lovely restaurant and bar with lots of options which cover every appetite and occasion. The owner and staff were terrific – welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend for a relaxing Cretan holiday.

Wow once again outstanding. Cannot fault this beautiful boutique hotel. I felt so at home and looked after by all the staff especially Eleni and Katy and what’s more our rooms were cleaned everyday. Can’t wait to go back and have already reserved my room for next year. Thank you

A warm experience ! We stayed only 2 nights as an extension of a 7-night stay in Anissaras. AI can say that the last 2 days of our stay were the best. I felt at home and pampered since I entered and saw how all the details were so well highlighted. The apartment was very spacious, airy and bright. The beds were extraordinarily comfortable, we slept so well! We felt excellent. Of course, Kate's merit and contribution are undeniable in this memorable stay. Oh, I forgot to mention the fresh and delicious breakfast that was served to us in baskets right at the door of the room in the morning: delicious omelette with mushrooms, Greek yogurt with muesli and fresh fruit, cereals and milk for children, sandwiches with warm bread, feta, tomatoes and cucumbers, butter, homemade jams, fresh orange juice and water flavored with mint, fruits and lemon. all this completed with an illy coffee prepared right with the coffee machine in the room. it was an exceptional stay! i highly recommend the location! thank you kate!

The Villa and restaurant are stunning. Set in the streets of a beautiful Greek village with views to die for. Kate had the most traditional yet stunning location you could wish for and all helped by her daughter and amazing staff. The food is next level. Having travelled all over Greece and its islands the food here is simply the best. We can across here whilst out walking the area and my next holiday will be booked here. If you want authentic food and a warm feeling of being at home then just book here. See you Monday at 9pm for another fantastic evening Kate. Chris & Lisa

We have visited Koutoulafari in the evenings many times but never stayed. We had a 2 night stay in Villa Lokasti and wished we could stay longer. We were in room 13 which is up a short flight of stairs but close to the pool. The living space with kitchenette was ample. Good size bathoom and bedroom. Plenty of room on the balcony with table and seating enough for 4 people. The whole accommodation had a relaxing vibe. The owners and staff were welcoming. There are building works of new accommodation which slightly impacted our stay. Our balcony looked out onto the builders working so having a peaceful breakfast and lunch was spoilt by the noise. It cant be helped and didnt want it to spoil our holiday.

Charming accommodations and fabulous people. A warm welcome from Eleni who had stayed on due to our delay. Beautiful apartment with everything you would want. Small and friendly hotel , never crowded and right in the centre of Koutouloufari. Breakfast basket was amazing as was our dinner in the restaurant. Spicy margarita ❤️ Cecilia and Ela ( not sure if correct) that clean the rooms were just the loveliest ladies. We would definitely return.

We had the most wonderful stay, Kate and Elani made us so welcome. The apartments are traditional, and very comfortable. Our apartment was right by the pool,all I had to do was hop over the wall for a swim. All the staff make you feel so welcome and treat you like family, the food in the restuarant is always excellent and one of our favourite places to eat. I could not wish for anything better.
